Stuart, I love how you explain the golf swing in a scientific way (at least that’s how I hear your explanation). It makes it more interesting, understandable, and believable. Cheers.

@@GoodGolfCoaching It is not too technical, I just like hearing the science behind the swing and golf in general because their facts, and not someone's opinion. Cheers.

You have helped your videos have helped on the left hand take away and I’ll add one thing I have found helpful key on the pinky finger of the left hand move away gives the control of the clubhead in the down swing. Again thanks so much

Again, helpful and insightful. Must admit I’m often torn between your “insights” and previous lessons and “information of Instruction, that has more “positional” and motion biased information. Visual support of top golfers and now data that compiles 2 and 3D info suggesting the “average” tour player” does…. So My curious mind has doubted and questioned many of the concepts- your direction creates intuitive connections with my “what if ideas”. Specifically the in /out path and focus on club head and static positioning. Nicklaus was recently featured in a clinic with Annika Sorenstam and she kidded that Jack would have won even more majors if he had a better grip…..😮 Go figure.

Another great video. That's good coaching! Curious your thoughts on uneven lies and maybe even ball sitting down vs. up? I have my own thoughts (sitting down is fade biased, up is draw biased), but I am wondering if you personally believe you need to change technique via ball position or aim.
@GoodGolfCoaching
@GoodGolfCoaching 7 ай бұрын
The ball sitting up or down should only affect height, you can offset the AoA with blade orientation, easy enough. Ball back for bad lie and forwards for good still works very nicely. Best wishes Stu 😊

Great video Stu! When using the driver, are you still trying to pull the handle in towards your lead leg as you show when using the irons?

Another great video. Been working the left arm drill, but having troubles keeping left arm straight. What is you opinion on the importance of left arm straight?
@GoodGolfCoaching
@GoodGolfCoaching 11 ай бұрын
Usually narrows/bends due to poor hip rotation/pitch. Freeing up your mid back in some way as per above will keep the arm wider. Usually, isolating the left arm to make it straighter is rarely the answer. Sorry I can’t give you the exact cause of your woes. Hope it helps. Best wishes Stu 😊
