If youre 4c then nothing but a relaxer will allow your hair to actually curl up in a noticeable way. A relaxer will artificially straighten up your hair and make you a 3c or 4a, and the curling cream will give you the curls of that hair texture, yea

Bro me personally I don’t like using sponges, makes my hair go frizzy and by the sounds of it, it does it to yours aswell. Just keep on doing the rake method (which is in the video) bro and it’ll get curlier each day you do it. Cliche saying but trust the process
