Why does every house in a horror film always have an unnecessary amount of glass doors (one is too many, imo) and windows that are too goddamn big? I'd also bring up that he seems to be living in the middle of nowhere (or near there), but that's an old trope. :P I enjoyed the video :) I hope my comment doesn't bother anyone, I just enjoy nitpicking :] (as do many, I'm sure)

Not to mention every single house is a McMansion, so the victim has to run through endless hallways and endless darkened rooms (hello, people, ELECTRIC LIGHTS?!?) before they meet their doom ... I enjoyed it too, actually, although I'm not entirely sure why the caller had it in for the young guy ... was it the girl's other boyfriend, an ex, a husband ... or just a random nutjob?

LMAO, agreed! This is like the umpteenth short horror movie I've watched on KZbin where the character lives in a big house filled with endless glass doors/ windows...and not a curtain to be found. Really??! Who decorates like that? I guess it's filmed this way to add to the psychological feeling of "vulnerability" of the character being exposed, or prime for victimization by some psycho wack job killer. ahhhhh...Love a good horror film :)

Cuz social media is ONE way to socialize that is a choice. Guess what isn't a choice? Socializing in your neighbourhood/work place. No one really mentioned it but this guy was a really great in the movie. I have seen hundreds of short films and I think he gave one of the best performances I have seen so far. I didn't believe him the part where he was scared, it was much better than majority of amateur actors though...but he was so believable in this role...great :)

The trend that I noticed for short films, that I like is the protagonist is not always some half-naked chick. Hollywood acts like men are never the victims. I am not going to pay good money to watch some dunderhead girl ''running up the stairs instead of out the door''. Short films show more and more male protagonists in the horror genre. And its refreshing to watch.

I like it, but as someone with a home security setup, I know that you get a phone call and if you don't answer, they'll send someone out. Also, if you call 911 and make all those noises, they'll dispatch. Guess it means nothing since in only took seconds for him to die, just saying.
