Setup Tip. Set Flight mode Switch Up Value 2000 (RTH), Mid Value 1500 (GPS) and Down 3D to 1400 (Will set to ATT Mode) so you will have Home, GPS and ATT Mode. Any time you make mistake in ATT mode you can switch to GPS Immediately. Make sure to take off in GPS Mode though after GPS locks all satellites and shows solid green LED.

Thanks for sharing video! Question, when I put into ATT mode, the heli wants to drop and I need to give it more throttle (collective) to stay in the air. Is there a setting that I can change that will let the heli maintain altitude? In your video you are in ATT mode and not touching the throttle. Thank you.

i also thought having to have RTH, GPS and ATT was good. need to experiment with it. setting the 3d switch value to 1400 should switch it to ATT.

Flying like this now. Only problem I have now is copter shakes bad at about mid spool up and spool down. I balanced both blades same center separately and together on a prop balancer, loosened and tightened the blades but still does it. Can’t tell if the shaft is bent but no crashes. Flies easy though. Question is there a way to keep GPS assigned to the GPS toggle switch and just change the 3d toggle position to ATT mode , this way you could fly in ATT mode and if you get in trouble immediately switch back to GPS on the fly.

I did it. Just switch the 3D switch instead of the GPS switch to ATT mode.

Hello Alishanmao, sorry to insist with the problem on my FW450 V2 abou "ATT Mode". I did what my Friend said about the Calibration of the Sticks and Switches on the radio ad H1 Program and the problem persists. when turning from GPS Mode to ATT Mode the Heli drops down, doi not stay in altitude. I don´t know if it is because one think that i remenber now, it means, my Friend always speak abou "H1 Version 1.9" and i'm recently using "Version 2.0" that Fly Qing says: ««H1 V2.0 New 3D security mode（Not 3D rescue，Just to prevent accidental contact with 3D during flight）: 1、This function has an adjustable height parameter, which defaults to 8 meters. 2、When this function is turned on, when the helicopter is above 8 meters, it can switch to 3D mode for flight. 3、When the helicopter is below 8 meters, the 3D switch is invalid and the helicopter cannot switch from GPS mode to 3D mode. 4、When flying in 3D mode, the helicopter will automatically switch from 3D mode to GPS mode and hover when it falls from a height above 8 meters to below 8 meters. If you need to fly in 3D again, you need to raise the helicopter to over 8 meters, switch the 3D switch back to GPS, and then switch back to 3D mode. 5、Please adjust the height parameters according to the weight and descent speed of the helicopter. If the helicopter falls too fast and the height set is not enough to make the helicopter brake and hover, there is still a risk of crash. Can You please tell me something about thisi sid? Thamk You.

So i just changed my 3D mode to ATT (1400) on my huey . ive been flying in gps for several months now and am kind ig board with all gps mode can do. Im hoping everything goes ok in att mode. ATT Mode is like GPS mode minus the position hold. you get more angle of attack, more speed but its still absolutely stable and auto levels fast once you leave stick

My Huey is stuck at solid green LED - I cant unlock it to fly. Sticks down and to outside does nothing. Calibrating Tx does nothing. Using FS-i6S just like in this video. What do iI do? I need to fly! How to get flashing green LED?

make sure motor arm switch is on disarm, now hold the rudder stick down and right for 3 seconds. your solid led will blink, if not, hold it down and left and see solid green will blink, now flip the motor arm switch and it will start

Hello Ali, compliment for revealing us this secret, I've not tested it yet, but I have a rapid question, my FW450 is perfect in GPS mode, but only in downside mode, when I switch invert, it keep the postion (not as well as not inverted) but not the altitude anymore, I must give big corection on the collective to keep at a reasonable altitude. Have you never experienced this problem on any flywing heli ? All of the other functions of h1 seems to be perfectly working. Thanks

you can calibrate the sticks on your radio, then calibrate the sticks again using assist v1.9, make sure h1 is properly connected and read. after the successful calibration, it should hold its altitude. if after this its still doing it, you have to do some swash leveling and pitch setup that is zero (mid) max postive and max negative properly

You have to calibrate sticks and switches on radio and then calibrate sticks again using assist program, so you have to do it twice each time you make changes to radio values

About ATT Mode on FW450, that i learned WITH YOU, i tried and happen the followig: i was flying in GPS Mode and when i turned tp ATT Mode with the Throttle Stick on its normal position (on the middle) the heli went down immediately without maintaining the "hold" position as we can see on this video. Note i recheck the Values, i recalibrated the sticks on the radio first and connecting H2 on the computer. . and the same thing happening: when i change from GPS Mode to ATT Mode the Heli dropped down.

after setting new values in radio for flight modes. calibrate radio, then connect H1 to computer and calibrate sticks again using Assist program. only then H1 will know if new values work or else it will keep switching to 3d and drop heli as pitches are different

Great 'hack' Mr. Ali. Does the H1 use something similar to the SAFE function in Spektrum flight controllers? I mean is there a 'flight envelope' in stability mode (GPS)? So you can bank only by 45 deg or so? I haven't tried yet. Might also apply to '1400' ATT mode, or?

in GPS mode it will hold its position and altitude. in ATT mode it will be better flight performance but it won't hold Position when you leave the sticks and all auto flight modes are disabled
