I know i already commented but i just discovered something, in the middle of the quest thing and the music box, you can find multiple crystals, if you get close it says to hold, and if you hold it, you can switch it to night time and day time! And I just found it in Emerald Hill.

​Hey it's better than nothing plus yeah the event is pretty brutal like why 2000 crates in green hill, emerald hill and city escape they should have made this event a little bit easier because the last 2 weeks event was very brutal so they own us an easy one not a brutal one but w update game fam 5 skins in one update that's insane maybe the reason why they made this event brutal us because there are not many player active on sonic speed simulator so maybe that's why they made the event so brutal still love the update even though the updates gonna be brutal 24 hours
