This doesn’t work on chapter select you must start a clean save by deleting your current save ( remember to back it up). You must follow this guide exactly and pick the honest and charitable options throughout the game. Always be nice to josh do not hurt him by stabbing him with the scissors or throwing a vase at him also don’t hit him as Chris in the barn. Keep everyone alive collectables do not matter. Also make sure you hit the QTE after turning on the boiler as Sam this let’s you high 5 josh.

I said I disliked Emily the most and picked isolation for fear. I also said honesty over charity and loyalty. I still got the I’m soo sorry option. I don’t think the therapy sessions really do anything. I think it’s the the way you treat him through the game. Could be wrong

None of the trophies are glitched thankfully as I got them all. Basically, you have to kill everyone including Josh. Have him express no regrets for what he’s done & DON’T let Sam find Hannah’s journal & he’ll have his head crushed at the end. I let Ash lock out Chris to kill him, I then had Mike shoot Emily after the bite, Ashley opened the trapdoor in Chapter 9 & then kill Sam & Mike at the end in the lodge. That’ll unlock it for you 👍🏻

No, you just have to show that Josh is remorseful of his actions in the end, choosing in the section at 9:30 “They hurt me” and “I am so sorry”, then you will need to find Hannah’s diary in the mines to tell Josh so he does not get killed by “Wendigo Hannah” and then get the best ending with everyone alive (or maybe you only need a certain amount of characters, but I’m not sure, so, just to be sure, I suggest you do the best ending).

When I got to the Chapter 8 choices I picked "They hurt me" but the next two choices were "THEY need to change" and "IT was just a game" I didn't have "I am so sorry" as shown in this video. Something I did differently before this section blocked off Josh being remorseful.

If you are playing on PS5 and trying to do this in chapter select its not going to work. You don't need a patch, just remove the save file and start completely new. Just make sure to upload it first. You need to completely remove the save file from the console and start a new run. Chapter select is glitched. I tried it yesterday and I got the trophy when I removed the save. All I did was pick YES when Dr hill asks about your fear of isolation And NO when he says is everything going according to plan And then you have to pick the nice words when Chris and Mike take Josh to the shed. And let everyone survive too.

As much as you think Josh is innocent, he himself is not innocent neither instead of forgiving his friends, which I understand it's a tragedy. He did the same thing they did to his sister, so this is why he's facing consequences instead of moving on and letting it go. He was giving a chance to repent from it, but he push it way too far so it's too late for Josh to turn back

Right? As someone who also lives with mental health issues, the way he went about the situation was in the worst way possible. Literally repeated the cycle (but worst), and self-sabotaged any kind of relationship he could've had. Most of his friends were trash but they came back. They clearly had remorse but he couldn't see past the hurt. I'm sure he would not have carried out his plans this far, had he faced his grief and was medicated BEFORE inviting them again. When you lose people having a support system is crucial. He was isolated and I'm sure that was a contributing factor.

It requires at LEAST 2 and a quarter. The first is trying to keep everyone alive. The second is everyone dying starting from chapter 5/6.(which ever one starts with Mattand Emily falling into the mines). Then another starting from the aforementioned chapter(s), allow only Matt and Jessica to make it till dawn

I'm loving the Until Dawn content. I have no interest in the remake as it wasn't that long ago I played the PS5 enhanced version of the PS4 original (if that makes sense). I do think it's great they added extra stuff; it seems like the definitive version to own if you haven't bought it already

Also kept all my characters humble towards josh and none attacked him and showed they're respects for what happened last yr through dialogue options. Haven't completed it yet but got the 'Im so sorry" to work after 2 failed runs. Hopping it trigures the trophy in a little over an hour.

Of you are on PS5, completely remove the save file from the console and try on a new run. Fear of isolation - pick YES Everything going according to plan - pick NO When Mike and Chris take Josh to the shed, pick the nice words. That's pretty much all you gotta do, you don't need any collectibles and you gotta keep everyone alive the whole game. I also didn't pick the scissors as Ashley and didn't hit josh with Chris. And got the trophy and my platinum! If you start a new run you will 100% get the trophy.

You can platinum the game in way less than 10 hours if you know what you are doing, it takes 1 + a half playthrough. Regarding your question, no one really knows if you need to start a whole new playthrough or not. The game and trophy is very new and the trophy is complicated. Some people cant get it all whilst some get it first try.

However I read some still struggling to get it, because one theory is that if you chapter select then the trophy will glitch out so you would have to start from a new game. But some people have actually unlocked it on chapter select. I personally did this on a new save file following this exact video on my first playthrough. Its hard to tell what makes it unlock and not, but for sure this video is one way to unlock it. The new game / chapter select stuff im not sure how accurate it is. P.S You could always follow videogmz new guide which is only 6-7 hours long for full platinum if you want to make sure.

I'm not doing the episode selection just going from prologue to finish. If I stop for the night when I start back up I'll just click continue cause I've read that doesn't screw up the progress
