Can't wait for the movie 👍 Don't know if I can wait for the premier now, knowing it's on the Dust channel. Will probably watch and come back for the premier.

Dude, you were right the first time, your McGuffin is a pyrimid, a pyrimid can have as many sides as you want as long as at one end they come to a single vertex, whereas a prism is when you take a 2 dimensional shape and extrude it.

Came looking for this comment. Depending on what kind of nerd you are, you may also call this shape a tetrahedron or a d4.

Have you done/will you do a breakdown of how you created that armour and helmet (in the Building a Scene video thumbnail)? Love that costume!

Nice little round-up of the process and love to follow your progress as a filmmaker and get inspired for my own creative endeavours. Just a few days ago i started my own shortfilm adventure and got a rough draft written so far. It's a sort of [not to spoil too much] scifi story where old tech and mobile-phones (not smartphones) take a centerstage. Cheers from Sweden!

It's more a Tetrahedron than a pyramid or a prism but each to their own and it's mostly irrelevant. Just keep making good sci fi in the excellent way that you do and don't sweat the small stuff
@MrSmithers Жыл бұрын
A tetrahedron is just a pyramid where all the faces and sides are the same length.

Hi Anthony, great to hear you won SFX award,Question? Was the opening shot of the "Ghost Ship" CGI or was it a Physical model and, if it was physical, will we see a build video in the future? I find your videos very inspirational and I hope one day to make my own short sci fi moves, Thanks for the good work!
@createscifi Жыл бұрын
Thx. All the space ships were 3D assets composited in Blender.

*if you ever decide to have an open call or invite for your subscribers to send you potential prop building materials for future or pending projects i have a box already set aside filled with all sorts of greeblies and other random bits that i've collected/savaged or rescued from being thrown away to post in your direction once i know where to send it...just sayin' yeah you'd obtain a lot of stuff all at once from an open invite so a storage bin or cargo container might be needed eventually but prop wise you'd be set for a few years*
