Wow. I can only imagine the ideas that would come just from sitting in one of those sets and letting the imagination go to work.

What a cool place! Kinda makes me want to see a film that uses all the sets at once. Maybe a story about a malfunctioning holodeck that's flicking through different simulations? I dunno. Anyway, thanks for sharing, dude!

Those sets look great. It looks like a place where the people who run it, care about what they are doing. It's more than a gig.

Add another one to the "fun to watch" build. I really like the use of practical effects over the green screen. It really sells the scene. As you stated, it allows for some possibilities of better camera shots and actor interactions. Not that I make movies, I play with toys, and scratch build scifi stuff for my own benefit. Something you helped spur into my life some four odd years ago. I have just recently started using thin foam sheets for cuatom greeblies on builds as you can seal them with ca glue, and they hold paint. I look forward to the next installment and to your film.

I don't remember where I first saw it, but trashed flat screen TVs are a great source of glass once you take it apart for the 18:00 mark. There's a back light diffuser panel that can be re-tasked like a large panel of polystyrene. Even the backlight LEDs can be used, but that's probably more work that buying a roll of LEDs from Amazon. Plus the random electronic bits and bobs for flash.
