But truth is what caught my eye early on, and what kept me coming back was absolutely and positively your faith on display. When you would stop at the start of the day or when things were rough and you got down a prayed... those moments are, for me, more powerful and impactful than all your big bass catches. Hey brother, I sit here praising the Lord that this is what you have allowed to be added to this video. I have been trying to preach the Gospel since 1999 (18yrs old) and I pastor now at East Temple Baptist Church in Winter Haven FL. We have the chain of lakes here and man there are some monsters in them. I just took this Church a few months ago but God has saved 12 or more so far. This is what this life is all about. I know it would only be a miracle from God, if you ever considered giving your testimony at our little church and im not asking, but I'm going to show this part of the video to our church family. Thank you Scott for having the courage to talk about your faith and take time to share your Christian journey with the locals and us folks watching on the tube. I'm sure not everyone's a fan but maybe you can plant that seed. I started watching your dad fish on rainy Saturdays when I was about 7 yrs old 1977. I grew up with a rod in my hand. We had 2 ponds at home and 2 at the farm. So I appreciate fishing more than most anyone, there's nothing id rather be doing. For the past several years I haven't been able to fish or do any of the outdoor activities that I love so I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it feel like I'm actually in the boat with a rod in my hand. I can't tell you what a great medicine it is for this old country boy from Alabama. It's a salve on my wounded soul. I wouldn't have known about your channel if not for coming across this little tow headed young girl out having the time of her life trying to hook a shark beside the boat ramp. I started watching her cause she has the same passion for fishing that I have and discovered later who she was and then met you on her channel and I've been a fan ever since. Please encourage Hillary to continue putting out you tube videos. The world needs more of what you are sharing with us. We all need to do more fishing and less fighting. Headed to the Glades in April for our yearly oscar and sickle clean up. Will be in the middle canal where you can see the white damn in the background. Heavy rain and too much water got us last time. Hopefully do better this year. We stay at your fathers rental trailers. Very much enjoyable. Im sure you Floridians probably look past those fish but Scott I can assure you that they are some of the best light tasting fish there is.

Yall should all come up to Shelby NC and do a carp tournament. I love carp fishing been doing it all my life. I can teach you how to catch them while they looking at it. It would be a fun time for sure. We also have the Bass Shack best place around to buy any hunting, and fishing supplies.
