You won't lose reputation for not accepting a bad deal. Just don't accept it. Also, whenever you hire a trash collector, you also have to spend $800 to buy him a truck. It's a one-time purchase, but it's easy to forget about when you are getting ready to hire someone.

Make sure to get the highest ranking employees you can. The extra cash you pay is WAY less important than how much work you get out of them. This is especially important for the assistant.

Z1, you need to continue collecting Scrap on a daily basis. Even if you have to do it YOURSELF, that is the resource that you sell after processing it. You don't collect scrap, you have nothing to sell. DAILY COLLECTION is a MUST, even if there are no good contracts to sell off. Bargain to collect, go out and collect, bring it back, process it, place it in storage. That way, you can knock out a bunch of GOOD contract when they become available.

When bargaining with clients, the more times you go back and forth, the worse a deal they will be willing to give you. You are better off asking for 25-35% over what they offer and getting it in one-two steps.

You should probably spend the day doing jobs and wheel and deal on the PC after the work is done for the day. You can't leave if it gets too late. This gives you the most time to do as many jobs as possible. After 9pm you can take as long as you want to do all the other jobs.

11:41 I found that vendors will take about 20-25% less when you're buying, and about 20-25% more when you're selling. I'm also making a spreadsheet with the best selling prices that I see and I've seen up to 45% over the market price. (So having a calculator nearby on the desk to do quick math is handy)

this game needs conveyor belts. i hope there is something like that later down the line. because youre supposed to chain the output of one machine into another. you can do that by putting them directly adjacent. for example your paper blocks from the basic paper shredders output can feed directly into the input of the machine that presses the paper into paper rolls. however you dont always want to make paper rolls, so you either have to keep moving the machines around, or buy a second shredder which is quite annoying because its an extra investment, takes up a lot of space, and you have to manage its content additionally to your other shredder. for that case it would be nice if you had some basic logistics like a conveyor and a switch that allows you to decide on the spot where you want to route the shredded paper blocks. either on the floor so you can put them on pallets and store them, or if you want to route them directly into the rolling machine.

@@Stone7C1 once you have enough room, money becomes a non-issue. So I just bought extra tier 1 machines and set up extra lines for the early products that show up more often.

One trick I noticed when they are being silly and refusing to change the price by more than a couple of dollars is to not change your price. Offer the same amount, that often causes them to make a bigger change in their offer, sort of like it resets their offer strategy.

I've fumbled key presses a few times. It's real annoying each time I do it. I don't know what effect it has to the reputation. It's hard to tell. I assume you haven't made a deal until you say "Deal" so you shouldn't lose rep. You should only lose rep if you take a job and don't complete it on time. Not a problem for me because I do the jobs and contracts as soon as I get them.

The recycling center gives you a truck's worth of goods a day. The truck people are not worth getting. They take a day per one job. It is so slow.

@@greenjackle I find that my only limitation is how much scrap I can collect. $800 up front is a bit steep, but getting an extra 60-80 kg of scrap every day for around $20 is SO worth it. I've hired all seven that I can so far. With the 3 star assistant giving me an extra 7.5 deals per day, they bring in an extra ~550 kg of scrap every day. VERY worth it. I would hire more if I could.

I wanted to tell you that you're not the only one who has messed up a bid. I refer to the video at 18:50. You had just ended a bid where a incorrect bid was allowed to go through without a cancel option. I have had a couple of them so far. I am level 14. One bid was supposed to be for $1,000.00, but it put in $100.00! As you said NOT doing that. This was tier 2 product as well. It was worth $689 on the game market. More than possible I was going to get the $1000. I just didn't hit the last 0 hard enough and wham locked it in. Would like to have a 5 sec cancel delay on that bid clock. Have passed on some really good salvage because my big fingers. That like to hit the wrong keys when typing out numbers being in a hurry. Was wanting to bid $85 for some really good salvage, 112kg. A LOT. but my fat finger hit $854. Of course, the person was more than exited to take $854! 🤦‍♂😔🙄🤷‍♂ (When the dev had an opportunity to put in a mini game that would have fit, and they didn't.) 😮Next update. Minigame inserted here. LOL! (Wishful thinking)

If you look closely at the gold bar, you'll find that it actually says 10KG which at the current gold price (I just checked) would be worth the equivalent of $861862. So you got ripped off big time.

you only need one sorter with 3 stars. Having a 3 star worker vs 1 star does not increase their unloading speed which would be nice. The only benefit to 3 stars vs 1 with the sorter worker is they sort faster and only by 15 seconds... Its not much of an improvement and only 1 can sort if you have to so paying 2 3 stars makes no sense to me. Just my opinion.
