Thanks for the weekly content. After a 50+ year career working with farmers and farm equipment I really enjoyed watching your channel. The plow day was a great event and meeting you all in person was the highlight. Blessings to you and your family in 25.

The 140 is the finest garden and small farm tractor that was ever made in my opinion. The Allis Chalmers G comes in as almost as good at cultivating especially on hilly ground. Joey I now own a 140 thanks to you and this channel. I appreciate the time and effort you put into the channel.

Wow, this is such an informative guide! 🚜 Unlocking the full potential of the Farmall 140 is fascinating to watch. It’s great to see all the details and tips you’ve shared to help others get the most out of this classic tractor. Thanks for breaking everything down so clearly, i 'm sure it will be really helpful for anyone looking to work on their own Farmall! 👏

Great video, Thanks! No better than a 140 or Super A for a garden, you don't need much to cultivate.

I started with my grandaddy's 100, but I knew I wanted a second tractor; so I bought a 1975 140 from Tim Fane in Fremont NC. I love the 140.

Great information! I would like to see a video on how to adjust the 1pt fast hitch for different uses.

Plow is about the biggest adjustment. good ideal.

Great video Joey. I wish I had your equipment line up. Finding fast hitch stuff is getting harder as the years go by. When you can find it, it’s not cheap. I would like to find a one bottom plow, a 122 disc and a chisel plow. I’m using my Kubota to break and disc now, which is fine, but would love to have the joy of doing it all with the 140s.
@Jtwes25 күн бұрын
Thanks Albert. It is getting harder for sure. If you do find some the parts for them is getting even harder.

Enjoyed the video. I've always said that the 140 is the perfect homeowner tractor. It'll do it all. The title of the video really got my attention, I thought at first you had engine or transmission trouble. LOL

Thanks Johnny. I can see how that would look like that. Lol

Our 51 Farmall Cub pulled most of the same implements that you showed (except the 2 bottom plow and the and big disc). As for fertilizer, we only used horse manure that we spread and disced under every fall. Unfortunately, we never used a hand planter. Most of our planting was on hands and knees but I still miss it all these years later. Thanks for another great video.

Hey Kevin Yes sir I miss those days too.

That’s exactly how I use mine I have a utility tractor with a power tiller I plow and row up with it. I plant with the push planter and I cultivate with a Farm-all 100 I never take the rolling cultivators off the 100 It’s the best for cleaning rows. I recently acquired a super a that is in really nice shape but the motor is stuck so winter project for sure. I enjoy your channel I’ve farmed my whole life with larger equipment but learning how capable the 100 is in the garden and how you set those rolling cultivators really helped

Man great video. I fell in love with my 140. And ended up with all the off set tractors. Duplicates of the 100 and 130. I’ve got some video of them all together just got to fine time to edit it. I love that fart hitch as well. Keep the videos coming and god bless

Great video, man , you hit it out of the park this morning. All 4 of my Farmalls were converted to 3-pt. My AV has a planter/fertilizer mounted on the side. My TYM 574 is mostly for land clearing, which it is great at it. I wanted the Farmalls to garden with which they better at than my TYM and they’re small enough to work in my future tunnel houses. Love your implements.

Great video as usual Joey. I don’t know how tru it is but I read that Farmall changed from the horizontal grill to the vertical grill to cut costs in manufacturing. I have a 61 that Deddy and I will be rebuilding once he feels up to it.

Is the 140 safe on undevelopel ground my place is up the hill and down.Ken Durham like the channel.like the 140.
@Jtwes25 күн бұрын
very Good question. you can use it on hills but you have to be very mindful of the weight being stacked to one side. I don't know what its limit is as far as angles but when im on hills I try to keep the engine side up hill.
