Happy Monday!
This week we are diving further into our 7 leadership myths series, and today we are specifically highlighting the myth that "leaders are born, not made."
I am super passionate about this because, once I fully grasped and applied this concept, the trajectory of my leadership journey changed forever.
So let's rewind all the way back to kindergarten and imagine me, little Summer, as a kindergartener.
Now you may think of a happy-go-lucky kid who skipped everywhere she went and made friends with everyone she met.
But that wasn't always the case.
Full disclosure: I would often resort to force or intimidation to get others to play with me.
And I began to take notice that there were kids who were getting other kids to play with them more easily than I was.
From that moment on, I have done some deep searching and inner work to uncover whether this trait is something innate or something that can be developed.
Now, fast forward to today, and you can probably think of that one leader who people naturally flock to-that leader who embodies great character inside and out and who builds up others in even the smallest of interactions.
So tune in to hear more about:
✅ What to do if you've realized "you weren't born with it"
✅ How to unearth your innate skills and harness them in your role
✅ Why you have more inner power than you realize
