So all that work and money that goes into testing, animation production, model design, scripting, and advertising, among other things, isn't worth any investment? Making games is expensive. That's also why they just added the heirloom store so when you do open enough apex packs, you can pick heirloom you want. May be more expensive after the event but at least It's guareented. You can decide how you spend your money, It's not necessary to actually play the game. There's also a guareented pull rate for legendary cosmetics and the heirloom shards. Some developers won't even add that, either due to the big man up top not wanting them to for more profit margin or they don't even think about QOL aspects. Respawn is actually a great company when it comes to this.
