Would be interesting to see that side by side with the baby Bosch

Isn't the Bosch around £300. A better comparison might be the Titan kzbin.info/www/bejne/foukdp13h9WKlassi=43RdbOA5opRXHCyX

@tobycannon7257 yeah if you looking at brands such as Axminster, Bosch etc they are about £300. There are a few at the lower end yeah such as scheppach, Clarke etc

Good vid Paul. I have a Sheppach press that I got years ago. For all the drilling I do (not much) it does the job. Nice looking wee addition to the shop though 👊👍

Nice one Paul I started with a small Clarke one that looked similar to this and it served me well over the couple of years I had it before I upgraded to my JDP15B. I’d say swap the Chuck for a keyless one it’s a lot easier. Good to see you doing well buddy keep the videos coming 👍🏻

oooo a keyless chuck is that easy to swap? any suggestions on where to pick one up?

Thanks Paul. Exactly the level of review I needed. This press is cheaper than buying a press stand for an electric drill press stand and a cheap electric drill, and on that kind of setup you don't have selectable speed. I don't think I could use one of those stands with my existing electric drill either because it's about 2 foot long so would be unstable and is SDS plus which adds a headache and some play.

Glad you found it useful. It is a lovely little machine. It struggles with denser wood but if you take it slow it’s fine. Don’t forget to use “brookeswood” at checkout on the LJ website for a bit of a discount. 👍🏻
