Unlocking the Power of LinkedIn: How to Build Relationships That Lead to Speaking Opportunities

In this interactive two-hour workshop for members of the Professional Presenters Toastmasters Club, Joyce Feustel uses a live-demo approach to help the attendees learn how professional speakers can find speaking opportunities through the relationships they develop on LinkedIn.
A member of Toastmasters since 1997 and a sought-after speaker and trainer, Joyce founded her business Boomers' Social Media Tutor in 2010 and went full-time with it in 2013 after a 17-year career in sales.
She provides coaching, tutoring and group/team training to help business owners and job seekers, especially those age 55 and older, to more effectively and productively use LinkedIn.
Originally from Wisconsin, Joyce has degrees in education and business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She and her family moved to the Denver area in 1995.
She's active in several business networking organizations, and is a leader and active member in three Toastmasters clubs, an organization that helps its members improve their communication and leadership skills.
Her workshop covers ways to showcase yourself through your LinkedIn profile, strategically connect with others, share your expertise and demonstrate your credibility through your posts and comments, and search for speaking opportunities.
In addition, at the end of the workshop she critiques the LinkedIn profiles of four members of the Professional Presenters Toastmasters Club.
