I'm new to leatherworking and have scoured KZbin for information, tips and examples. From my journeys down the rabbit hole, I can say your site is by far the most comprehensive I've found. The detailed examples and instructions you provide are easy to understand and complete. Not every expert can teach or explain the subject they are proficient at and make it understandable by beginners. Your ability at leathercraft is evident but your ability at instruction and demonstration of the craft is what sets you apart from the myriad of other excellent leather crafters I've found on KZbin. Some people have either the ability to do or the ability to teach. You've got both which is a rare gift.

At first I was not sure if I was going to stay subscribed to your channel there are so many and I try to keep my subs to the ones I find the most interesting or useful. After this video I have found your stuff to be both interesting and useful keep up the good work the random things you have found to use as patterns has opened my eyes to a whole new world to look for things. Keep up the great work!!!

I think you just gave me an idea for a solution I have been looking for. I’m going to make a small box out of Cherry to hold my cordless Makita multitool and I will sew magnets into a leather strap to hold spare blades for the tool. I want to permanently attach the strap to the lid of the box and contact cement will probably be strong enough, I will use your last tip of the decorative brass upholstery tacks to add decoration and strength.

A tip I use with my side cutters/nips is to fill the cutter with silicone. Then take a razor hlade and cut down the middle. Now when you snip off the end of whatever you are cutting, gets caught in the silicone and doesn't fly into your eye or across the shop.
