The biggest comforting lie is that life will stay the same forever. The core principle of this is to understand that nothing is permanent. I realize this may get buried because this video is a few weeks old… But to the gentleman who sponsored the video… if you happen to see this. I can relate to what you went through. What I found is the emotional damage came back with a vengeance once I got into a serious LTR again…started having nightmares about my ex 10-15 times a month…couldn’t sleep etc. What started the healing process was me trying to figure out what was so wrong with me that 1. I didnt see it coming. I cant “let it go” as people say or “accept reality as it is” if I dont understand how I allowed myself to be so deceived. 2. What was it about “him”. I tried to figure out why I was her plan-b for so long that I lived inside her head. 3. I became intimate with the pain. I wrote down every nightmare I could for almost 3 years to try and get it to stop. Im still broken but a lot of healing has happened. The dreams stopped and things are much better now. The answers were 1. i did see it coming. I didnt want to believe it. I betrayed myself. When friends said I was being too controlling I should have told them to pound sand. I have learned to trust my intuition. 2. It had more to do with her than me. She could have broken it off like a mature adult but it was her own trauma and dysfunction. Thats not my problem… who it was she chose didnt matter because it was bound to be anyone. Nothing would have satisfied that broken soul. 3. The revenge I have now is in being happy and successful without her. The kids I raise and the family and life thats built has nothing to do with her. My happiness and sadness exist in a world she decided to leave. The pain was a good part of the process and it was needed for getting through to the other side. And let yourself grieve. Its okay to be broken. Just keep moving through it. *Edited for grammar *

I (27M) dated a (25F) girl last year for 9 months. Started off brilliantly for the first 2 to 3 months, however arguments started to happen as she kept bailing on things at the last minute (she had a kid) often because she was tired or her kid was unwell. These got ironed out and then it was fun for a month or so but she got sick. She then got better and it was fine until I went on holiday, and I was away from her. We argued, and then the games started happening. She would always tell me how amazing I was, how handsome I was, how i was the "best thing since her child being born" and that she "loved me more than the father of her child" but she would still bail on dates, and if we met up she would be rude, she would be on her phone, and would generally ask for more than she gave. Eventually we just stopped hanging out and she used her illness as an excuse. I basically gave her an ultimatum and she said "I love you but I can't do the things I want to do with you because of other things going on" or words to that effect. The next week she then said she wanted to meet up, and on the day we were meant to meet up she said she had covid. However she posted her on Instagram dolled up with her girls. So I binned her on the spot. The whole thing has taken ages to process mentally. I'm 6 foot 1, tattooed, good looking and sporty. I have a good career in heslthcare and apart from losing a job because of feeling distracted by this situation, my peers respect me. I had no idea how somebody could act one way at the start but then change and be so cold later on. The worst thing is, the guy she's dating now is short, ugly and looks like he lives in a trailer. She told me we wouldn't be Facebook official but they are together on her Facebook, all dressed up looking good, a luxury I never had. I don't understand how that turd can get shown off to the world and I was by and large kept a secret for the entire relationship unless she wanted something physical, which really hurt me. Rich, as much as I watch your content, I have aspergers, and it makes it so hard to unplug and not be intensely angry at this situation. I know this person was bad news, but there's still part of me that doesn't understand why a guy who's less physically attractive and who looks fairly poor gets treated better than me, who has a decent job and looks good. I also have a wide circle of friends who respect and value my time, and a number of cool hobbies including skiing, mountain climbing and team sports. Sometimes I wonder where I'm going wrong
@K4113B4113 Жыл бұрын
I know you asked Rich's advice, but getting an answer might be difficult, perhaps I can offer you an outside perspective. The truth is that the guy she's seeing right now is probably cooler than you. He might be able to make her feel things that you weren't able to at the time. Perhaps you were under the impression that the formula for attraction is just about looking good. This simply is just not true. Most guys seems to be completely unaware of this fact somehow. But if you want to confirm it to yourself just observe how women act around you depending on whether or not you're in "the zone". If you sometimes have days where you feel exceptionally confident, relaxed, charming, etc. you will notice how women find you more attractive, even you will find yourself more attractive if you look yourself in the mirror. Correct me if I'm wrong but to me it seems like you're a very easy-going guy, that may have trouble setting boundaries. If she was acting rude to you, and sitting with her phone an entire date, you probably let her do that without ending the date or reflecting that behavior. I.e. you might have continued to be nice, accommodating, easy-going and loving even when she did not show those behaviors towards you. That's like giving a dog a treat every time it bites you. You reinforce that behavior. Just yesterday, I was training my cat with treats, and she scratched my hand. I immediately got up and ended the session. That way she learns that poor behavior is equal to no treats. But as soon as she displays good behavior and does what I say, she gets immediate treats and praise. Human psychology isn't much different. But hey, I might be completely off here, in which case I apologize. Here's another example to illustrate the point: you know how children will test their parents to see how much they can get away with? Some women (don't wanna generalize everyone) have been known to test a man in a similar way, by acting rude, insulting or other undesirable behaviors. They want to see that they're with a strong man that will put her in her place, so to speak. If her man lets her act this way, she knows that he is a doormat, and she looses all attraction to him. You have to set boundaries for what is acceptable or not as well as provide consequences. You don't do this by being angry, emotional, or violent. For example, if she's on her phone the entire date you can tell her to put the phone down, or give it to you, and that you didn't come there to sit and look at her while she's on her phone, and the consequence of her not doing that is simply that you end the date, and walk out. She can take a taxi home or whatever. You're not being unreasonable, you're being fair. She will probably not listen the first couple of times, in order to test you to see if you will really stand by your word. But when she sees that she can't treat you any way and that she has to behave, she will respect you and be very attracted to you. And if she's acting rude or cold towards you, just mirror that behavior back to her without reacting to her or being emotional. I.e. if she's in a bad mood that's her problem, not yours. If her behavior continues or it's excessive, then set a boundary. Some emotional turbulence will always come. You have to understand that when she says those lovely things about you, they are probably true in that moment. But emotions are in a constant state of flux. There's also a possibility that she said those things in order to see which ones affected your pride, so she could later attack those points to hurt you. But if she never used those things that she complimented you on, against you later, then she probably meant them, in that moment.
@angusharley5947 Жыл бұрын
@@K4113B4113 this is an interesting perspective. I've seen plenty of cool smaller dudes do okay with girls. As Rich says the pocket hercules managed to clean up only being 5 foot 6 or whatever. Come to mention it I've had a few girls tell me I was good looking but there was no connection, so it's possibly once the initial "he's hot and good in bed" wears off, maybe I don't bring a lot to the table. If I'm honest I have no issues getting matches but I have an issue with conversations hence why I kind of latch onto whoever has a spark with me at the time. So maybe I pick the wrong people. And once I get them I have a problem setting boundaries through fear of losing them. I don't have a lot of time to spin plates as my job is time consuming and I'm always in the gym or out on a hike or playing sports so it does leave little time for dates. I know my worth physically and I get enough props from people but I think having aspergers means that I struggle to find that connection. Regarding what she said to me compliment wise, during the break up periods she never used them against me at all. She didn't even mention them. So I would say it all probably was genuine.

@@K4113B4113 and yeah, I also found with my ex that if I had a good day she mirrored it, sort of thing. I got redpilled going through several who weren't faithful, I mean I walked into those traps myself, They either had a BF, still hooked up with me or I found out later they had a bf, stiff were together with me, all small fings with the bad boy, a couple of weeks max, went back to their business. Then my only longtherm gf ever, she just came out of a relationship, her mom cheater on her dad nonstop, she knew about it, I found out several things out going towards the end of the 3 year relationship, it was more than 1 accident, but eventually I knew something was completely off and she admitted to my face that she "loved" another guy (still continue sleeping with me for some time and that pussy was still very wet) , so yeah also had some trust issues, but now I know it's just female nature. I knew some of the redpill concepts, but these were confirmed when I found that rabbithole on youtube. Looking back what was my mistake? @@HenrySomeoneI think women with more conservative value are more faithful, though yeah, I'll agree, nobody is 100% faithful. Bodycount is a good indicator, but they don't even have to give the number, their behaviour gives it away. Not all women are like that, if you go towards the 7-10 you go fish for pretty girls, then yeah chance are higher of cheating, you go lower in the scale and I would say there's less chance of cheating, but I'm not going lower, I know the game I'm playing, it's fine. Same for Rich, notice, not sure sure he's shown his ltr, but she's probably a very good looking woman, who is faithful, they're rare, but they do exist. I would say, depends on the country also really depends city vs smaller town? basically more conversative or not. I got female friends, I look at my own family, some of them cheat/are slutty, some of them just don't. I mean, if you wanna give us, that's your call, I just adapt to the game and fully accept the rules of the game.
@HenrySomeone Жыл бұрын
@@sebastianrubio928 Firstly, there really are no more conservative ones, just some who aren't completely, 100% morally bankrupt, but of course they will still cheat, just maybe not right from the get-go and all the time, but they will sooner or later. If you present yourself as non-judgemental and a good listener to women who are either your classmates or work colleagues and they therefore consider you a friend (which you shouldn't really be with women, but it was worth it for the sake of this eye-opening revelaion), they will open up to you and I haven't yet met a single one who hasn't cheated at least a couple times (most did much, much more though).

Like countless others, I used to believe in all that junk i.e. work hard in school, play by the rules, treat others (esp girls) with utmost respect etc. I found all of that to be junk. I do treat others well (without being a "nice guy") but have found in the past that people took advantage of that and those good deeds got me nothing. Over the last while, I stopped caring, I focus on myself (not so much on others), don't compare myself to others, have lived life and seen what some people can be like i.e. colleagues, mentors, "friends" etc, the best lessons in life are the ones you learn yourself/the hard way. It is from "surrendering" (as Rich states) that I feel better/less stressed etc. A friend/colleague/partner is on your side until something "better" comes along (money, status, power etc) or they sense you are a threat/liability to their success. Focusing on yourself, accepting life for what it is, and even some degree of red pill awareness can help you live a better quality of life. Have a good day reader :)

I think as men we have a natural want to fix things. So we over analyze the situation and ourselves. Here's the facts. This guy did nothing wrong and it's all on her and his family. We as men have to learn to let it go. but we have been taught by society we are the fixers and white knights. From fairy tales to history. (Who was let off the Titanic first) We have to learn to give ourselves a break and some things are just not fixable. I have said it before and here it is again. A man has always got to have the ability, willingness and resources to walk away at anytime. This guy did the right thing from the time he heard it. What he didn't do was expose it to everyone.

1:40 Seems to me like there is an opportunity in the Red Pill space to learn & teach men how to quickly draw out of women their true character, view of you, men in general and the world at large and also to discover what price tag she places on herself. Call it “expedited character vetting process.” Ain’t no body got time to waste 2-3 years for each prospect. Somebody start doing lessons on how to quickly discover what someone is truly about.

As far as the marriage stuff, don’t fall into the idea of marriage is a bad thing because other people couldn’t do it. The reality is you’re supposed to be loving if you’re not loving one another then of course is going to fall apart. Love is opposed to be implemented when things are not good not when things are great. The reason why marriages fails because you forgot to love. It’s work. Do the work. God created the institution of marriage, so it’s a good thing. We’re not meant to be with 1 million different people. We are meant to be with one person have a family with that person and continue our bloodline.

I do not agree with. We are not monogamous if you get the right person and you dial-in everything and then grow as 2 it’s the best thing ever I mean who wants to go dialing somebody all over again when you’ve already reached Many milestones and excitement in the relationship however, I know that’s hard to find but I found it fourth wife was a charm

We need to encourage the development of a new cultural norm, being single is chasing excellence. The marriage contract and idea of marriage itself should be completely removed from the minds of young western men today.

He should think about how to get women to value him but also everybody can't value you he has to make sure he goes for women who can value the him and 5'9 girl wouldn't value a 6ft guy as much as 5'2 women Same with women who don't care for money and same for women who don't care for morals So he has to change his choices even though the other type of women may be easy to get or easy to find he has to go for women who are sensitive

Probably the reason why he married her so fast was not bc he loved her but bc he wanted to get sex sooner than later. The fact that she’s had a notch count of zero means that she wanted to preserve her virginity until marriage. So it is what it is. He couldn’t keep his pants up so there… she betrayed him.
