I think the greatest ship would've been something that was eluded to, but not fully fleshed out. The end of the original run of Cardcaptor Sakura was satisfying for this reason. It was left at the precipice, but never guaranteed, leaving it up to the imagination of the fans. That would've worked great here.

So true, lol! I personally believe the best authors are people you can't trust, yet reward you for sticking it out to the end. Although I was never a big KISS fan, I saw an interview with Paul Stanley the other day, and he stressed how important it is to give your fans their money's worth. I couldn't agree more.

You and me both bro Like bro...all of that greatness and build up, just for the worst ending imaginable, and for a second from my understanding it could've been saved if they went a certain route but they went with the route that left all what was done throughout the entire series meaningless... I hate the way this ending is souring my thoughts about all the events that lead up to the end...VERY DISAPPOINTED

@@EtronX348 Exactly and I couldn’t agree more with you my friend!! 💯💯 I genuinely believe that Aka simply got either bored or began to hate the amount popularity that Oshi No Ko garnered because the ending just felt so unmotivated and soulless which is a real shame since we all know that Aka is a great writer at heart however it seems like his biggest weakness is becoming uninterested in a project the longer it goes on!! 💔💔

The live action is out, and it's finished. The movie is going to come out which is the final ending. It hints that they are following the manga ending which is bad.... Kana got hit the hardest, so sad :( i liked online theories that she was the main character. The real "favorite child" also the some theories about old Japanese folk tales with gods (Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, kaguya and so on)

@@usprulse Wow I completely forget there was a live action version of the series tbh haha I swear they just keep putting out live action adaptations for “slice of life” manga haha Yeah I had seen many theories similar to the ones that you mentioned, sadly none of those came to fruition and instead we got nothing but a subpar underwhelming ending!! 😔😔

@@steverapisura5418 Yeah it honestly feels like a waste of time whenever a series that you got real invested in has a very horrible ending, it just leaves a terrible taste in your mouth!! 😔😔 and that’s true “My Dress-Up Darling” has been phenomenal this year and I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in stored for the story!! ❤️❤️
