Unmatched: Slings and Arrow Review (Good Set or Bad Set? That is the Question!)

Licensed IPs are great for getting new players into the game, but I agree that the strength of Unmatched is all of the bizarre combos you get from using public domain, mythic and historical characters. Titania vs the Genie and Shakespeare vs Nobunaga are top of my list just for thematic reasons.

I love hearing this. I'm a Shakespeare nerd, so i pre-ordered this without knowing anything about the set. So I'm excited that you liked it so much. I'm hoping it arrives soon.

Just like when people considered Black Panther as a "Reworked/Rebalanced Arthur", characters like Hamlet might trying to accomplish the same thing. If that's gonna be the case, I'm more inclined for RG to bring back the out-of-print sets with updated decks. Not to mention Unmatched is hindering me from getting Thunder Road; Restoration Games is competing against itself for my wallet.
