I am currently 36 weeks pregnant, and my sister and I grew up with a firefighter/EMT dad. He was ALWAYS gone on calls, but let me just say that looking back, I wouldnt trade it for the world. Knowing my dad was saving people while I was missing him made up for the absence. Plus, it DOES NOT LAST FOREVER. I'm 21 now, and I'm SO CLOSE with my father!

Love your honesty. My son was also my barnacle. My son had reflux and was so much more comfortable upright, as the acid wasn't coming back up. When he was laid flat, he used to squirm and gasp as the acid would take his breath. Thankfully, at around 9 months and medication, he started to improve. Thanks for sharing your journey xx

The question about the pumps with tubes. I think she was asking the plug in versus hands fre.. yes it's the strength of the suction. Wall plug is good for getting your milk to come in & when you want to power pump to increase your milk supply. The hands free is for when your milk has already came in & comes out easier.

I love and value your transparency! My fiancé and I are trying to expand our lil family I have been reading and watching so many videos and it’s particularly difficult to find youtube videos where moms give their honest feedback on bonding, help, how your personality style adapts to motherhood, etc. i’ve always felt like you give incredible insight on your personal experience & i hope you know you’re amazing for being so strong and putting yourself out there especially with topics that appear to be very quiet online!

I had an unmedicated birth and I didn’t get my period until I stopped breastfeeding around 7 months! And I wasn’t even exclusively BF, I had to supplement a lot. You’re an amazing mama!! 😻 I pray I can have another baby soon.. my daughter turns 5 in February and I wanted her to have a sibling no more than 2 years younger than her.. but I have PCOS and endometriosis and I went over 3 years without a period after she turned 1 and just recently it came back!

When my son was around Harlow’s age he started such tantrums and it was like the kid I knew was gone. He was so angry all of the time, and I was pregnant. He’s almost 3 now and he still has tantrums but has improved so much with regulating his emotions. Also, seeing you managing with two while your husband works long hours is relatable and makes me feel like maybe I can handle another kid or two.

I also had a medicated first birth and a unmedicated second. My bleeding was similar to yours about 3-4 weeks then I was done and a week went by and I started bleeding again. The 3-4 days I was bleeding seemed odd so I actually called my health care provider and the RN told me it was most likely my placenta wound scab falling off. I never heard of that until so maybe that happened to you as well. I love your videos! ❤

For both my kids I didn't have my first period until they were done nursing, which was a year after their births. But I also was on a birth control that prevented it and still allowed me to nurse safely.

My OB said there would be a second bleeding point. It wouldn’t be as long or as much but it’s basically the “scab” from where the placenta was attached and has healed.

COLIC TIP: my sweet baby girl cried anywhere from 2-6 hours a day up until she was 2 months old. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try Little Remedies Gas Relief Drops. They soothed her almost immediately during her most intense colic fits. Also, if you use microwaveable heating gels for your boobs, try wrapping a towel/thick blanket around one and put light pressure on his tummy with it. The warmth can soothe some of the pain as well. Sending love 🩵

I was early and had to delete cuz I edited it too much. Let me say this. My mom had 11 of us. Yes. And yes , my dad was a fireman as well. Then fire chief. Also it’s funny you talk about colic. Well, not funny but my sisters babies were. My expert mom told her. Watch your beans and veggies. Babies tummies are not used to them. Milk is another story or dairy. But they cause gas in us 😂😂😂😂 I consider her an expert having so many brats as my dad called us 😂😂😂I miss him so. I don’t mean hate it to be like saying anything. But it’s odd they both have it. Could it be your foods and not dairy like my sisters or ?? I don’t know but you’ll figure it out and they’ll settle soon ❤ sorry it’s kinda hard. You are so busy. It must be hard for you. The animals and home and colic ? Man I feel ya. Wish I lived there. I’d come help ❤❤❤love you and love you are you and REAL !

So bleeding reallt depends on a lot lf factors, same thing wirh your period. Most of the time with BF, uou may start later. But i stopped bleeding with my homebirth babies within 3 weeks, then ur was just sppotting. But i had no internal or external injury, which also makes a differnece. With my first it was extremely taxing and i had a lot of injury, and bled for like 3 months!

Just remember they’re babies and the only thing they know is you. It’s 100% normal to have an attached baby. Just remember to ask for help when you need it
@KristenxLeanne
@KristenxLeanne 10 ай бұрын
congratulations!!! It's going to feel overwhelming for sure, I mean I cannot imagine two!! But see if you can get some help in place and don't be afraid to "offload" them onto someone you trust that has come to help while you step away to get things done for yourself. Try to remind yourself also, that this time that they are young is very short, and you cannot get it back. So also soak up and enjoy the time you spend with them too. I'm going to guess they'll be very attached to one another, so that will work in your favor. Supposedly babies think momma and them are the same person for 6 months too. So keep that in mind, they want to be close to you. But for Wyatt, he was 10 days early and just has had a slower time adjusting to being outside the womb, you may have that too since you'll most likely have them early (a twin thing!). I'm sure you have, but do some research on some items that are for twins, like a "snuggle me" sort of thing for twins, etc so you can have stations prepared to set them both in when you need to step away. We have a swing, a rolling bassinet, the baby bjorn bouncer , floor mats & stations and the dock a tot! (for newborn phase)

Urotherapy is a very healthy thing to do if you are suffering from any sickness. I know it sounds gross because they have conditioned you to think it's waste but it's not. Your kidneys are the best filter and your urine is pure. Ask any nurse you give your sample to. It is also filled with stem cells. YOUR stem cells and there is no better way to get antigens. Seriously, I just took a course called Healing Genesis with many doctors and experts. They all promote urotherapy but most Hospitals don't because it's free and there is no money in it. The testimonies will definitely help you rethink your stance on it. You just have to get out of your head about it. Peace~

Probably not a period. When breastfeeding you typically can have spotting for longer then normal. My first two pregnancies with medicated, my second two were unmedicated , with my 3rd baby bled for 5 weeks then had my first period at 6months pp, currently 7 weeks pp with baby 4. Still having occasional spotting every few days (EBF with all my babies)

It’s not dairy what makes babies colicky it’s an oxalate in all the vegetable. I went fully animal base when my kids were born and I’m still to this day. My kids were never colicky and I don’t ever get bloated.

I think us career moms are different. We have this burning passion for our career and it tends to be what keeps us sane. I myself am a new sahm during this pregnancy and i feel mentally horrible. That's how I was. I was a career person. Went back to work etc a lot sooner with my first. Eventually we decided it was more cost effective for me to stay home or only work part-time. It was a drag for awhile, but I've actually come into my own as a STAHP. Granted I am a disabled vet. So I make money without having to work, sometimes I do feel "copped" up.
