February 17, 2008 Today is a sad day for Kosovo, Serbia. I am ashamed of my government (USA) in being a large part of this. To me Kosovo will always be Serbian.

I was there last year and had the privilege to eat dinner and stay overnight at the Monastary. Wonderful hospitality and good food. Before daybreak I went to a service and it was amazing. The chants, the incense and the church being lit by candles in the predawn darkness. It really filled the senses.

Stay adamant Serbia! I am a huge supporter of Serbia and admire what she has achieved, is achieving and will achieve. May Serbian culture sweep the world and gain more supporters. Dont mind the series of unflattering comments about Your country, You have earned Your place. Other countries and foreign organizations, groups and individuals have caused You offence but Im happy You wont lie down. May Your country be fast-tracked to stardom. Why do you serbs don't make a difference between Albanians and Kosovars? Albanians are some people that live in the land of today's Albania, most of them are pure thraco-illyrian race, white, blonde. They have two faiths: orthodox(the Tosks) and catholic(The Gheghs). Kosovars are people who don't even speak the original albanian language. They have origin from today's Central Asia and are radical islamists. Grettings to my orthodox brothers in Serbia from Albania!

I'm also American. And I agree with you. And yes.....the Albanians did burn and destroy Orthodox Churches and Monasteries.
