This episode recalled some wonderful memories. A friend and I traveled by car through Scotland over twenty years ago. We stopped at Urquhart castle at about eight o'clock in the evening, and it was still very light outside. Absolutely deserted. We wandered around in solitude, admiring the amazing views. I've never forgotten it.

I would imagine Loch Ness is akin to the Grand Canyon here in Arizona. Photographs give you some idea, but in person it can be kinda mind blowing. I had no idea that Loch Ness was that big. Thanks once again for letting us tag along. Safe travels.

Isn't Scotland known for its cold, rainy, blustery weather in winter? My gosh, you couldn't have had more stunning days cruising through Loch Ness! I remember a Nancy Drew mystery story involving Loch Ness...or something in Scotland because they were playing the bagpipes. Loved those books, but seeing it on the screen is pretty stunning!

We visited Urquhart castle when we did our 3 month OE about 9 years ago, I loved the history and the beauty, so similar to Otago here in New Zealand where we live! I’d love to go back to the UK I loved the place totally and the people were so friendly once they knew we were Kiwis! These Vlogs are fantastic and you Colin are a true artist with videos of set with you Shaun’s sense of humour make these weekly snows totally uplifting, thank you!
