Boy am I glad DaVinci lets you decompose compound clips in place... eliminates the need for this entire process

Unnesting video could be done a lot easier. It makes sense to bring all nests down to video1, after that you can select all, right click, go to Multi-Cam, activate and same again: right click, Multi-Cam reduze. After that you just have the unnested original media in the timeline. (Names in the menu could be different because I use the german version.) I don´t know if that works with audio as well, because you unnest ine clip to four or five. But with the workflow you have used: It is helpful to unchech the A1 and A2 on the left side of the timeline. So if you drag the audio down, Premiere will just put down Audio 3-7. You don´t have to delete A1+2 everytime. ;)

How do you do it?
@Pranav_m_Mistry4 жыл бұрын
@@catringriffiths2633 Unfortunately, you shouldn't do this in premiere pro. If you prefer to work this way, it's best you switch to avid. Where you can create sub-clips and use the auto-sync option that makes a self-contained clip with all the metadata and ability to link to the source.
