Actually, post-Mythbusters they have both stated multiple times that they borderline couldn't stand each other and do not interact with each other outside the set (they have never been to each other homes for example, nor do they have dinners/lunches together outside shoots). They were literally co-workers and nothing more. If anything, speaks to the sheer professionalism both persons have.
