Promethazine is a sedative. Some people including me like the effects of sedative. I used to take them during school to calm my social anxiety. Its what makes you sleepy when you drink lean and can cause hallucinations in high dose cause of its delirium like effect. Its like taking a bunch of benadryl. If you hear anyone say they drunk hella lean and seen "shadow people" it cause by the Promethazine and not the opioid.
