Unofficial Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls (Episode 1): Mars the Not-So-Artistic

(Sorry for spelling/grammar errors) Hi, Unofficial Milky Way. In a week, aka September 14, 2023, I would have been an MWGG fan for 1 year. (I may or may not discuss that on my channel later) I wish I had something more unique to say, but...thank you. I seriously mean it. When I first found out about MWGG on September 14, 2022, this was (appropriately) the first video I ever watched on your channel. Unfortunately when I first took a glimpse at it, I thought it was pretty dumb just because the animation and the audio weren't on par with the real show, and I kind of just left MWGG hanging worse than when MLP came out. Sometime in March 2023 (I believe?), my Science teacher was talking about a new unit we were doing with planets, and MWGG instantly kicked in my mind. I showed it to 2 my friends (it was a guy and a girl and ofc the guy didn't take it seriously) and then I went back to your channel and I fell in love! Your videos are so cute, funny, and charming! Who cares if it doesn't match the quality of the real show? Writing-wise, it's better than what most people would expect, even with its inevitable flaws. My main point is... I'm happy someone had the courage to revive what could have been a wonderful TV series, and I'm even happier it was you. Also, you're better than most youtubers for engaging with your fans and the community 😊💙 If it wasn't for you and the KZbinr Izzyzzz who explained MWGG, I would have never been inspired to make my channel about something I love, and I would keep on making those "animation test" videos I posted like every 2 months that I didn't even like making. Without you, I also wouldn't figure out that Mars is my favorite Galaxy Girl or how much I LOVE to draw everyone! Thank you so much, and here's to more and more years of MWGG! Thank you so much! I became a fan in 2020, and I was horrified at MWGG's 14 year prior history. There just wasn't enough and nobody made any fan animations (or not enough to say). So I decided to step in. You know what they say: if you want something done right do it yourself.

My kid is obsessed with this, she was so excited that she literally asked me to watch this with her, and it made sense when she told me, because she was a fan of another Lauren Faust show MLP… I did not realize it was going to be fan made. This episode, out of all of those you made, are in a new level of improvement. There's more animation in there, and pacing is in the right place, real voice acting is in there, there original soundtrack, the characters (even the added and much newer ones) are great as usual and best of all, the story. The story of this is creative as Mars would made for her art (but not that made up trailer of Art the movie). And has a lot of heart and good, tolerable comedy. How this made revolving Mars is overall heartfelt and relatable. Just like her, I'm an artist (and animator) who's passionate of the stuff I made and I was, in the past, ranted on by my enemies and people that teased and bullied me over how they are to them and even my own personality, where I used to not handle their criticism, but I later on, take criticism from those who were helping me and nicer to me. Speaking of the latter, The only thing so far I criticize in this is the soundtrack is a bit too loud compare to the voices, I can barely here what the characters are saying when the music is playing. My advice, lower the volume of the music a bit lower so we can here the deluge, okay? For this, I'm giving at 9/10, with a seal of Beauty.
