I like how their personalities and physical looks kinda remind you of their real-life planet/space orbit counterparts. For example, Sun's description says that she is a star, which is a reference to the real Sun being a star. Moon's description says that she has mood changes that are as strong as tides, a reference to the Moon creating tides in our planet. Jupiter has a lot of pets, a reference to real-life Jupiter having a ton of moons. Saturn has hula hoops, a reference to Saturn (the planet one) having beautiful rings. Mercury's description says that if we look at the night sky we can see her shining bright, a reference to real Mercury being visible in the night sky. (Also, Mercury is the fastest girl in the group, which is ironic, considering the fact that real Mercury spins very slow.) Pluto and her friends Ceres and Eris have a band called "Pluto and The Dwarf Planets", an obvious reference to the fact that their real-life counterparts aren't true planets but rather dwarf planets. Uranus and Neptune are stated as twins in their description, which it kinda makes sense, because their planet counterparts are the only ice giants in our solar system. If I find any other references, I will edit the comment. Edit: Wow, looking at your responses made me realize that there are a ton of mythology references in these girls. Lauren Faust knew what she was doing designing them.

Ahhh I’m glad other people are remembering this series. I had my ig pfp as Pluto for a short while and someone asked “what show is it from.” Haha… haha… :( a show that never got a chance to be. Now, would I take this over MLP? No, but I still hope it becomes a thing in the future. The character designs are unique, cute and appealing to kids. A good concept does not equal good execution, but I think this could work as a show.

Seeing this site gave me some body-feeling shakes knowing that this gives me anemoia (even though I am a boy), I do remember quite seeing flash sites for kids back in 2013-2016 when I was in Pre-K until 2nd grade-ish, and seeing this video.... oh boy, about 3-4 times my mind made some electrify-like anemoia signals all over my limbs, and gave me pretty high memories of Flash stuff like these and it just quite brings me back. Although said again, I am a boy, just turned 14 last Thursday/Dec 7, watching this but it's all thanks to you for uploading this and made me look into it and gave me bright memories of Flash stuff! 🥰

There are certain plugins you can download on your browser to make it work. For example, I use the Ruffle Engine plugin I found from a wiki page and it works just like it does in the video. (Keep in mind that none of these plugins are related to Flash other than replicating how it worked)

Ong I love this concept and I love the characters. It reminds me of the cartoons I used to watch as a kid. One question I have is why is earth excluded? If earth were a character she could be like, a chill hippie character and have a gimmick like nature, water, or air, since those are 3 of earths most defining features.
