Hi Simon, sorry to hear the shop isnt doing too well. Have you considered setting up an online shop? I'm sure many people (myself included) would love a chance to support your craft. I did buy one of your tankards in a previous video, but this requires some 'right place right time' luck :). Hope you are well. thank you for sharing your knowledge as always.

And the year before, and the year before that...your wheels will keep on turning. I drink out of one of your mugs every morning and evening with Barry's Irish Tea....still looking as good as the day I got it. Karen has 2 mugs of coffee in the morning and one is from your brother John's pottery in England, we picked it up in 2019. Missed out meeting your brother as he wasn't doing too well at the time. Although I am no longer doing pottery I still enjoy watching the process and appreciate what goes into making the mugs in hand. Hope you and the family are doing well... Cheers...Freddie

Hey Simon, I hope you are well ... How many gallons of propane to cone ten on the little kiln and on the 10 cu ft ? I wonder if one made two fire mouths on the front (low at the floor ) of a 10 Cu Ft with baffle walls in the the first 4 inches of the floor then rectangular shelves across the kiln to the sides (middle of the kiln and then an exit flue down low in the back to a brick chimminey (say 6 or 8 feet ) .MAybe a bit airier in the chamber .. We might try one for the hoot of it .I think we get offered old electric kilns once a year ... We have so many hard brick here from the 6 ft dome we took down some years back . LOve the wood ash spray . We do a Seto varient with half galdart half wood ashes by volume . Nice crispy surface ... All the best , Guy

Your pots are always so perfect. Thanks for all you do and have done for the potter community. I have learned so much from you. Are you going to still have your gallery or are you thinking of not having one? I still plan to get over before the end of the summer.

Sign of the times, its the same here in the UK, not many tourists here in the city of York this year, we are/ in pre2020 days packed out with tourists, not a lot of spare money about anymore to splash out on things like handmade crafts sadly 😢
