Hi Melina, I hope you and your family are well. Your reaction to eating the dark chocolate is how the entire ration pack should have been. Moral is very important for Soldiers; food needs to be good and will lift a soldier's spirit, while on the front line when they can't get to the field kitchen. I have eaten British Rations back in 1979 and also in 2023, and they weren't too bad, especially the Goulash, of course, opening the tins (1979) with the bars of chocolate and boiled sweet inside was always a fav of mine. You spent 3 days editing moving the Heart around to hide your modesty LOL Editing is time-consuming as it is without having to do that. I bet you won't do that again LOL

Don't worry about sliding into Russian language. Whether I understand it or not, it is a beautiful language. I love the sound of it. I understand a word here or there. My grandparents spoke Russian, but somehow I never learned it well. As for your video editing problems, you are still well ahead of me. I'm stilling learning the very basics of video editing and it has been almost three months already and I'm just now starting to understand some stuff. I still have not completed an actual video yet, hopefully soon. Spasibo to your sister for helping you make video as well! As for your dress malfunctions, it happens, next time a more careful choice in wardrobe will occur perhaps. I don't look at you with cheap eyes, I can't speak of the eyes of others. You are a beautiful Russian girl who deserves respect and real happiness and love, which will happen when you least expect it. You and your sister please be safe in the meantime Milena. It is also good to see you smile. I know when Russians smile it is for good reason, we Russians (and half-Russians raised partly in Russian ways), don't smile often, but when we do, it is real. When talking with a Russian and they smile at you at some point, then you have succeeded in the next step towards acquaintanceship, which builds towards friendship. I don't trust people who smile all the time. (Americans smile far too much). When my soulmate Marta smiled at me the first time it was really special. It felt like the first step in a very strong forever friendship. Here we are almost 10 years later, still going strong. Yes, there is good homemade food, good restaurant food, microwave meals (not so good) and then there are rations, which I am not sure can be called food. I don't think they are supposed to taste good anyway. Ask soldiers in any country and they will tell you the same. I wish I could support you better, but I don't have extra money, in fact, I don't even have access to Telegram to message you.

You are so sweet, trying the food that is for survival (not for pleasure ☺), it is supposed to contain more nutritians than flavor. And I feel you might need to make a survival list in case of some emergency, for example no electricity. And the most important thing is Water 🙂. Also a knife can be good for opening the packages. I guess the kit is for one person but for how many days is it meant to last? Maybe the unplesant men saw what you hide for us 💗.

Not a restaurant quality but let us be keep in mind that it is not the aim to please the senses of those getting it. In the military they want you to be hungry for joy, so you keep going toward your objective. They are designed to fill you with energy and keep you empty from success so you`ll be working toward your goals and make you feel like you wanna go home as soon as possible. Of course, that is unlikely to happen as any combat-trained person is a huge liability to the state and society. And, a threat to any corrupted public sector alone.

You MUST try British or American army rations, they are pretty good and really tasty. Russia feeds it's army food like pig slop. The price is about the same at $11. An ex army friend gave me 2 big boxes of rations left over from a military exercise, I ate like a king for about 1 month!
