That tool is to open retort pouches and reseal them. This is the standard Russian ration used to stock all emergency shelters and such. After the war, the blue over package was replaced and some items had to be reworked. We believe this is temporary. We work directly with the factory which is why it's so fresh.

This is not a ration for a nuclear war. In the Russian army, there is not even such a thing. What difference does it make what ration you eat sitting in a bunker or any other fortification? That's exactly it. There is no difference. They will feed you the same as other troops. The exception is the rations of submariners and people serving in the far north.

I don’t want to upset you, but this IRP has nothing to do with either the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) or the Ministry of Defense, and certainly not anything nuclear. :) It looks like some cunning individual entrepreneur is putting non-perishable products into boxes and passing them off as dry rations. Although some dishes from this set can actually be found in army IRPs. When you try the first jar, the translator translates that you think it is barley porridge - it is not barley, but buckwheat porridge made from buckwheat. )). In the second approach to food, you discovered “Lecho” - a classic Hungarian appetizer made from bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, it is eaten as a side dish with the main dish as a vegetable appetizer. Thanks for the review, but don’t trust marketers anymore when they talk about “IRP for nuclear war” and check the manufacturer more carefully).

@davidlynnprepperprincipal3540 Жыл бұрын
@Brandon Que Respectfully, there are a number of companies that produce limited run specialty rations. Most countries have contracts with companies producing for their militaries. However, most of these militaries are relatively small and therefore smaller numbers are required. Military rations usually have 3 year’s expiration date. Russia has a larger military and a lot of the rations produced are civilian copy rations. A Nuclear War Ration is a civilian speciality ration.
