People really go on hate-cruisades over other mbti types that broke their hearts or betrayed them or whatever, condemning every person of that type as a morally bad person. I'm serious. This shit needs to go. Carl Jung literally se*ually assaulted a woman who was under his therapeutic care. It was so bad even his mentor, Freud burned all bridges with him. Jung had great insights but let's not forget the system kind of does end up being "stagnant" in the sense that it doesn't allow certain types to "grow" and develop as a person and do things that are unlikely for their type to do according to their stereotypes. Aka "because you have managed to achieve this goal you cannot be XXXX type since it's unlikely for your type to achieve those things". Think about how that could affect someone's self esteem heavily. It's not that I don't believe in the system, it's just that you cannot completely disagree with it and u cannot completely agree with it. This leads to people going down major loops of overthinking almost self destructive in a way. Btw both Carl jung and people who take this shit way too seriously than it's supposed to be are NTPs in my observation. They completely disregard the moral value of things and get way too technical. Its cringe.

I've ever heard of this. But there is actually a questionnaire that US companies have used to determine if the person applying for a job is able to handle the pressures of the job. I was quizzed once when I applied to work at a bank.

Same here, I had never heard about it until I moved to Asia. I was surprised to learn that Asians are crazy about it. BTW, what could that US hiring be? I have never heard about it hahahaha. @@WorldtravelwithHenry. could be the Big5 test, which has a facet called "neuroticism" that deals with one's proclivity to feel negative emotions intensively. Big5 is also the only typological system that is accepted by mainstream psychology as valid, hence many companies use it.

I cannot tell, actually it's is so absurb to learn that someone would wait for a partner with their desired MBTI to find love. It blows the mind to learn that you way to good employment might fall through 'cause of MBTI!

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is often criticized for several reasons that undermine its scientific credibility and reliability as a personality assessment tool. First, the MBTI lacks strong scientific validation. It has been shown to have poor reliability, meaning that individuals often receive different results when they take the test multiple times. Additionally, research using factor analysis does not support the existence of the 16 distinct personality types proposed by the MBTI. Instead, personality traits typically exist along a continuum rather than in the strict categories the MBTI imposes. Second, the MBTI's design forces people into binary choices, such as Introversion versus Extraversion, which oversimplifies the complexity of human personality. Realistically, most traits exist on a spectrum, and this forced categorization leads to a loss of nuance, making the results less accurate. Third, the MBTI is based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological types, which is not grounded in empirical research but rather in Jung's personal observations. Modern psychology has moved beyond these ideas, favoring theories developed through rigorous empirical studies. Furthermore, the commercial success of the MBTI contributes to its widespread use, despite its lack of scientific backing. Organizations often use it because it is a well-known brand, even though it is not effective for making important decisions like hiring or team-building. The test's appeal also benefits from confirmation bias, where individuals see themselves in the descriptions and believe in their accuracy, despite the lack of evidence. There are better, scientifically supported alternatives to the MBTI, such as the Big Five Personality Traits model, which provides a more accurate and nuanced understanding of personality based on empirical evidence. In conclusion, while the MBTI can be interesting for self-exploration, it should not be taken seriously as a scientifically valid assessment of personality. Its widespread use, particularly in professional contexts, is not justified by the evidence. There are more reliable and accurate tools available for understanding personality, making the MBTI an outdated and ineffective measure that should be used with caution, if at all.

Nice filming and interacting but it's a bit boring in the beginning that you're always saying that it's used really much and then the people rather showing the opposite. Of course then the following people said that it's used. I just think it would be more exciting if the opinions "yes, it is used a lot" and "no, it is not used much" would alternate or more of the approval would come first, if you're looking for feedback.

Personally my MBTI is INTJ, and I don’t believe in MBTI that much, because I don’t think people should discriminate or take it seriously based on a persons MBTI.I believe that we just use it for fun and entertainment,And it might not be 100% accurate because some times you might also feel a little introverted and sometimes you might feel extroverted, and sometimes you might have mood-swings . even if you do believe in it please don’t be offended I’m just saying this in my opinion.
