I think sculpt wise McFarlane is improving but really to fix the leg articulation

There not improving they been good, but there stubborn and lazy search up there halo figures those were really good then they started making doo doo figures.

I love the effects but they definitely could have been interpreted better, like with marvel legends the effects slip on not effecting the figure itself.

I appreciate your honesty in this review and I have the same problem with Mcfarlane toys. Love spawn and I respect Todd but I just wish they would hear us out on improved articulation.

Having stylized figures isn't really much of a problem in of itself, but including a reference picture that doesn't look like what's in the box makes no sense to me. I'm not saying this to take away from the figure, cause it is a nice figure, but it's just something I was thinking about.

I've been modifying all my McFarlane figures starting with the MK Spawn super deep ab crunch thigh and head movement and brought in the chest a bit to get him to bring his arms straight out in front of him and I cannot put him down now I can get him into some crazy Spiderman type poses now! He's great!

I may be wrong, but I think that in the comics those extra lightning patterns around the costume light up when he is using his powers, otherwise the costume is just red. Again, I'm not a 100% sure. Great video, always love your reviews

For all he says about not wanting the articulation to break up the sculpt, I wish they could do something about those gigantic recessed knee pins. I would love if they could totally get rid of them but at least make them blend in a little more

Thank you for show the viewers on how we could make modification to the figure itself. It look so simple but yet so dumb why McFarlane didn't add this detail to the figure themselves. Wish he improve them better they were original suppose to be built. Every time I try to play with the figures makes me feel more awkward due to how the articulation are set up.

I was discouraged for awhile from picking this up but after getting it in hand, I don't regret it. Not to be rude but I feel like alot of reviewers kind of write off a figure if it doesn't meet the range and movement that a import such as mafex, figma and sh figuarts can do. I thought I wouldn't able to get him into a natural running pose but surprisingly, I did. I think it comes down to what you want at the end of the day. I mostly put them in a pose, sit them on the shelf and from time to time, change the pose up after awhile. I don't look for the most articulated thing in existence but only for something that looks good in sculpt and has enough articulation for me to move them around into a decent pose. I will admit though, the deathstroke for how good he looks, has horrendous movement in the hips but the flash to me is pretty great.

I like what you did with the torso and neck joints, but the thigh swivel in the hip joint is enough for me. I never even use cut joints in the thighs on DCUC or ML because they look so ugly. I'd like to see McFarlane give more range to the thigh swivel they already have in the hip joints. Thanks for the review!

all McFarlane has to do is to move that torso peg backward to the middle of the torso to increase the articulation. look at how far forward that peg sits is ridiculous.

They add all this articulation but it’s all restricted. Only things that work on these guys is the double jointed elbows and knees along with the hands and feet. Everything else is either nonexistent or the range of movement is so limited the points are effectively made useless.

Disagree with thigh cuts, it breaks the sculpt for me and the muscles and folds wont line up if you swivel it, id rather have thigh swivels on the crotch. But each to their own.

Yeah I feel you, he has implemented the thigh swivel it's just not the traditional one that people are use to seeing. People barely use a thigh cut anyway In posing with most characters

Why is his lower mid section so thin and his upper chest is so fucking huge? He looks like he is starving to death. I just feel McFarlane can not nail proportions. And again with the damn diaper. That needs to go. The diaper.on my nightwing is already slightly warped. I also think they really need to swap out the ball joints they use for the ankles because man they do not last. Some of mine are already having trouble standing up. McFarlane has alot of room to improve. These figures could be insanely good. It's just some stuff holding them back.
