I think that they actually surpassed the classic Select figure. Better size, proportions, sculpt, and accuracy. You might be able to argue that the paint is better on the Select, but I was never a fan of the frankly silly red on the face of the original release.

Supersorrell used a Star Wars: black series Supreme Leader Snoke which brings a Throne room seat which works well , the Throne itself could use a few modifications which could match the comic . Great review , have the figure, very happy with it.

I regret previously buying the redeco BAF Thanos never knowing they were going to make this classic version which is what I always wanted. Eh, so I double dipped. I use the Lady Death from the Diamond Select release. Yeah, she's a statue but it is sufficient enough.

There's statue figures and there's action figures. That should defined characteristics. Action figure should have CRAZY AMOUNT OF ARTICULATIONS. These figures costs a lot. I'm a father and wish to buy many of them for my son but they expensive, so when I buy it, u want have piece which give that joy of posing as much as u can. About this figure, is chunky and quite big. I think it should be bigger. Feet should have toe swivel. Anyway, I agree they should add diorama trone as it's depicted on the box. Would be awesome.

I've said this in the comments of a few reviews, but despite the improved articulation this has over the Select version I HATE the head sculpt on this figure. To me the eyes and the whole eye/brow area in general just has no expression, it looks to me like only the bottom half of his face is emoting, and even then it's a strange expression for the mouth. It just looks goofy to me, like I keep expecting to hear Seth Rogen's laugh coming out of that face. At 7:31 the image of the King Thanos head shows that the brow area covers part of the eyes giving him a more glaring/menacing look, and the Select version also did that too, so it perplexes me that they screwed that up on the default head, although some of your shots at the end did make it look a lot better. Then again that's all just my opinion, there's a lot about the look of this figure that I like but the head combined with the cutbacks to potential articulation points makes me happy to just stick with the Select version until I actually get to see this figure in person.

I’m really getting a “Anthony’s Customs” vibe from your reviews recently. I originally subscribed because of your positive vibes and passion for action figures. Classic Thanos isn't the same size as Hulk. He's slightly taller than Thor. Also, "he's a Titan," isn't exactly the best argument for him being bigger. By that logic, Starfox and Mentor should be 7 footers.
