About the curved claws: they’re comics accurate with the 1980s X-Men comics of the era, when John Byrne created the Brown costume. Wolverine’s claws were shaped more like actual animal claws than knives or razors then.

11:45 My three Marvel Select Sabretooth's have been proudly on display with my Legends for years and years. The 80's Sabretooth is amazing, the Jim Lee/Capcom looking one is amazing, and the zombie version is amazing. They scale great with Wolverine too. Of course the only thing is no dynamic poses...but it's okay when they're sculpted _that_ perfectly.

Your set-up is so good! Super clear 4k, great lighting + the excellent purple gradient background really helped the figure POP. Good stuff man :D I ordered 2 of this guy and both had the trap issue you highlighted, I noticed it as well.. it's not SUPER pronounced but it was definitely equal on both. I ended up swapping parts between the two for paint defects until I got one that was next to perfect. This is probably my favorite figure of 2021, one of Mafex BEST releases.. people please don't sleep on this guy until he is 300$.. if you want this guy and you look at the 100+ pricepoint and go "nah" you are just going to kick yourself when its 300$ like Superman or the original spiderman release.. MAFEX has NOT done re-releases of this stuff.

Just needed to review brown suit Wolverine by mafex. Watching your videos helps me see clearer and clearly the full design up close. Thank you for making videos. Things are done but viewing from your point of view really helps. This is a wish figure for me and could use one for my collection. But I didn't think the price would sky rocket. I like the curved claws. The only issue I have is one of consistency. I would have preferred both versions either came with curved claws, or they both came with straight.

As expected, Mafex produces aesthetically pleasing figures, however I’m only sold if their quality control issues are rectified, which to this point is not in alignment with the price point! Great Review however !

Heads up on anyone on the fence for Mafex Cyclops. It's starting to sell out everywhere and it's price has already jumped significantly on the secondary market. I’m really looking forward to this figure. I slept on him but Mr Ortega from Toy Migos Discord was able to hook me up when BBTS restocked. Nice review, everything looks and sounds good. The ring light shit is frustrating but hopefully you figure out a work around. Now that everybody has them you see light rings everywhere 😂

Having no nostalgia attachment, the tiger stripe looks much better. The lack of shoulder pads and the weird choice for the exposed flesh on his chest just doesn't translate, plus with the QC paint issues it just looks unfinished. If his arms falling out were fixed that's a big plus though.

That's the enigma of Mafex. You have true 5 star figures like their Gambit with it's more intricate design and then simple designs like this Wolverine which somehow ends up sloppy. That's the frustration, in knowing they have and can do better.

2:54 Damn man. I mean I knew something was off with the torso on yours, but didn't realize how Mr. Fantastic it looked. My tiger stripe has the exact same proportions as the brown suit. If you pop off the parts and compare them to the brown suit, you should be able to fix yours...unless it's some damn manufacturing defect.

Really strange comment about proportions when they're literally the same mould with the exception of the upper shoulders and arms being different. Also different claws. So the proportions are nearly identical. Such a strange observation for someone who reviews figures professionally that you draw such an inaccurate statement.
