Love, love, love your explanation of the import of the poignancy of the 'Lament Psalms'. Your analogy of a judicial format --- the petition and the complaint presented before the Lord {YHVH}, the Righteous Judge --- then, importantly, culminating in praise! I so enjoyed your analysis of parts of Psalm 6 --- all the succinct 'double entendre' employed by the Psalmist in presenting his petition before YHVH. David knew well that 'YHVH inhabits the praises of His people', and in his agony, he boldly reminded Him of this. Then you tied it all into the New Testament, New Dispensation and Jesus' exemplary 'Lord's Prayer', through which we learn to give God praise, glory and adoration. He already knows our needs and will answer our prayers, according to His will {which He will make known to us, if we just ask}. SWJ, there definitely has to be a Part II. Please make it happen!

I remember little after I gave birth to my son. I ended up with some kind of pancreatic cancer and I remember recovering in the hospital and the chaplain gave me a scripture in psalms about how David lamented. I wish I remember which it was because around that time I was still relatively new to this walk and now is afraid to complain to God about what I was going through. And this chaplain told me about how his mother passed away when he was a kid.. That stayed with me just the only thing that didn’t stay with me. Was that specific scripture in psalm

Good teaching sir.God never promised an abundance of wealth and cars but his word does promise us eternal life.The psalmist David wrote from his heart probably one of the most flawed men in the Old Testament however his love for God came across in his writings his expression was transparent it’s like we were reading David’s mail when he wrote the Psalms. The hardest prayer we will ever pray is to let Gods will be done in our lives. Blessings to you Elder Jones and the Bunker family
