Some people thrive off of trying to portray other people’s sins as greater than others. He was shaming her. The sin is in the act, itself, not the pregnancy. Fornication is not the only sin in the Bible. She should not have been standing up in that church apologizing to nobody for nothing. Nobody else in the church ain’t did anything that he/she needed to apologize for or is she the only 1 sinning? None of them have a hell nor heaven to put her in. The baby daddy very well could be up in that very same church, quiet as it’s kept. Don’t nothing surprise me when it comes to these holy and sanctimonious hypocrites of the church. The biggest opposition I've ever met about 42 years ago as a young pastor in a Baptist church was when I put an end to bringing pregnant young girls before the church to be humiliated. The Deaconess who embarrassed the young teenage girl was pregnant out of wedlock herself 21 years earlier, but because she's married to a deacon now, she forgot about her own "pregnancy" out of wedlock. This is what the Bible says about the matter, (Galatians 6:1,2 KJV) [1] Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. [2] Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

My late husband and I eloped... When we decided after a year had gone by to tell my mom, James said mom, and he was having a hard time saying what he wanted to say, and momma said y'all are married. She took the fear from him. But she said !eh me see the license. James kept in trunk. Daddy was at a nursing home but momma still honored him. Ok. I know this Church. If you ever watched them they also don't believe in Women on the Pulpit. That was one of the reasons i stopped watching them.

This wasn’t of God I just believe that. Did this man realize how humiliated this girl going to feel facing the world. Things like this cause people to suicidal thoughts and action sometimes. Lord be with that girl because she got a lot to face going froward and especially in that church.

Love covers a multitude of sin. We're called to restore, with a spirt of meekness, considering ourselves. I've known young women like this has happened to and they have not returned to anyone's church. That shouldn't have been live streamed. How humiliating this is.

I was raped in COGIC, and I went to my pastor, and when the pastor took it before the church. The brother told the church I was a hoe ! They believed the brother that raped me.

I know about open rebuke, but this video will make you puke, I feel if she's not strong in the Lord, by God she has been forgiven but what the Pastor done can cause a person to loose faith or stop coming to church at all.

Why is she apologizing to the WHOLE congregation as if she wronged them (when she sinned against her own body 1Cor6:18), and asking for the congregation's forgiveness when she should be at Jesus' feet repenting? And speaking of repentance - the pastor mentioned "it's never too late to repent", however true that is, this poor little girl, young lady did not go up there and repent, she was forced to tell her business. And since she's blabbing all her sins to everyone, there should be a line at the altar for everyone to have confessional if that's what the church likes to do because we are all sinners and no sin is greater except blasphemy. Where is there a model for this mess on the Bible? This waa handled all wrong - perhaps after a more private rebuke a little discipleship from the church moms? And where are her parents abd tge young man that impregnated her? Tgey could probably usediscipleship, too. We all do. Help us, Lord! Your supposed to go to your brother or sister in private, then with another, then the elders and so on (Matt8:15-17).

Sir Walter Jones, my dad was a Baptist Minister. I remember when I was in my late teens, a young lady was going to be made to go to front of church... Her grandmother even made her sleep in basement. I asked Daddy (hence I'm the black sheep) what about those using drugs. I remember being in choir and smelling weed. What about those sins not seen. So he listened, surprisingly.

*sigh* and this pushes many young women and girls to choose abortion. A baby shower is just for that-the baby. The baby isn’t at fault. Her standing in front of the church confessing was enough for her to recognize her sin. The fact that he chose to beat her down more than she was already beaten down is sad. I just can’t with this.
