My sexuality isn't obvious, and I notice that a lot of black women study me( the way I talk, mannerisms, etc) after finding me attractive. They rarely ever ask my sexuality directly, but they assume that because I'm masculine presenting, that I'm hiding it. The energy shift I get from them is never really negative, after I let them know. I've met more black women who are cool with it, than not. And I think that could be attributed to me being upfront.

I love how Troyce talks about the importance of doing research to understand things, then in the same breath, he spews nonsense about how ChatGPT and other LLMs aren't biased at all, claiming they’re foolproof. He could literally ask ChatGPT that question, and it would definitely explain that LLMs can exhibit biases based on the data they’re fed. I swear, some people think research is just watching videos. I’d be willing to bet his next unpopular opinion will be that the Earth is flat. And the way he’s so condescending, acting holier-than-thou with the "this generation is cooked, they don't know how to do anything" attitude-says every millennial who can’t do basic math, struggles with reading comprehension, etc.

I think prisoners should be able to make minimum wage, it would be great for those who have children to still be able to help support while they are incarcerated. Minimum wage should be a standard for all, regardless if in prison. When we apply to jobs, they don't adjust the wage based on whether we are commuting from the hood or suburbs.

People talked about no kids, being selfish etc. with me before. I made the same points as Dee : it's ok but there's at least some personal desire (cute, legacy, social status). They kind of denied it so I asked how many they knew who didn't want kids at all, sighed and then got some anyway just to benefit humanity. No examples followed. And yes, it's global. I'm in the northern parts of Europe and a friend told me that it was time to also get a kid when he had one. I say, do what seems best to you. But yes, there's also people on both sides who regret the choice.

I tell my kids and anyone who'll listen that if I was of childbearing age now in 2024, I probably wouldn't have kids.
