Hey Marno love your channel but the obscure game I played recently was fighting layer a 1998 3D fighter made by Akira and namco. The gameplay is kinda a hybrid between like virtual fighter and street fighter 4, it's actually pretty damn good. One of the characters is close copy of hworang from Tekken while also taking influence from Kim from kof and fatal fury. It's connected with the street fighter ex series which I'm also playing. There's a sequel(released in 2017 I think?) to it called fighting ex layer that blends fighting layer and the SF ex Akira characters into one game.
