Tip to you rein players, when you use your fire strike try to aim away from genji, however your next fire strike comes back before genji deflect so if you don’t wait long to use it and your guaranteed to hit it on genji.

what he said about genji shredding is absolutely true. I've been hard stuck gold genji main for like 14 seasons now. Was borderline silver/low gold pre buff. Ended the season at 2600 with a 72% winrate. Now he is just able to keep up and compete. I can agree his dmg output is pretty high, really just his spread change was nice, making his right click more viable.

i don't really agree about people having multiple accounts in a competitive game, and i feel smurfing is an issue. i understand from a streamer standpoint the entertainment value of it, but i don't think it justifies it really. it's just perpetuating the legitimacy of it to other players and then other players do it too and it screws with the system that exists that's put in place to divide players by skill. but what can you do really about it though, not much. the players themselves have little agency in which they can reject people they play with to get "fair games" in this type of matchmaking because it can affect their future matches. in the olden days of pc gaming there was no real matchmaking and it was done by telling others what kind of skill level you were at, and if they deemed you to be too good or too bad they could dissolve the match if they felt like it, no such luck today.

About that smurfing discussion, how about if when creating a smurf account in the creation tab you had to prass a button that say something like "this is a smurf account" so after while matchmaking the game would in the first place look for another smurfs in the same level and rank, and then the normal matchmaking would continue. Then the chance to accualy get smurf would be lower and people wouldn't have reason to complain. If someone wouldn't press that button then it means he accualy want to play on bronzes while smurfing and that should be banned, not just smurfing. What do you think about it?

My main was mid gold for multiple seasons but couldn't get past plat in solo queue, bought a new acc as a phara one trick alt, and it placed high plat, said fuck it and played other dps in high plat, and got it to masters, used it as my main ever since, that was season 14

Before u get lvl 25, the game looks at your performance in Quickplay. And the information, how you play is then used in the first Ranked Matches. So if you play very bad in Quickplay, you probably will get Bronze or Silver opponents in the first Ranked games. So you have to play good in Quickplay until level 25...

Always be looking for deflecting damage orbs. If you you deflect one into the enemy team (so the orb gets used completely) I get an average of around 20% ult charge. Allowing me to build blade way faster than counter ultimates, so I can do a lot more with no need to bait out enemy ultimates.
