It's the main reason he got to play both Tracer, Torb, and Zarya in Overwatch League in the same timeframe for Atlanta back in the day. He just picks up the cues and runs with it - so the only real question here is if his pace of learning the intricacies of the fundamental value Brig provides in higher games, before he reaches those higher games.

I can tell this is gonna be a grind lol. You have to play Brig so differently to any other hero. Having a shield gives a lot of people a false sense of security, and shield bash is more of a movement tool to get out of situations rather than using it offensively.

She was ok last patch, they cut the shield 50 hp so it breaks instantly and made the armour do nothing with the armour rework.

Use bash for movement 90% of the time and then 10% as a finisher! If you keep bashing in or using that cd first you'll be punished and deleted in t500. ALWAYS swing or hold up your shield, just like rein. Most importantly get comfortable being idle! a single swing doesn't create much value, but you being alive to continue to prox inspire and generate repair packs is what stops the enemy from being able to kill anything. Inspire lasts a whole 5 seconds for anyone in your los when you do damage even after they leave your los. As far as not knowing what to do just look to boop any ability that requires you to be up close, think rammatra nemesis form, hog hook, reaper existing, monkey jump, or genji blade. Lastly remember to look for opportunities to cancel out ults with rally, whether using a stun cancel or the extra aoe heals. Seriously, almost always bash away from enemies

Im looking forward to this, might be tough with stream snipers. But never thought id watch dafran play brig xD Its all about inspire uptime, positioning and timing on your aggro. And watch out for rammatra players, everytime they see you they will use punch and hold w in your direction.

I feel like Brig is pretty easy to climb with regardless of team comps or anything. Once I got good at her, I shot straight from plat to Masters. I could have probably kept playing her and climbing fast but I’ve been messing around with all of the supports and not just restricting myself to her anymore. Throw healthpqcks to teammates when they’re in danger of dying. Don’t waste them because your inspire can heal them if they’re not one danger. Keep using Whipshot to activate inspire. Use shield bash to run away when you’re about to die, don’t bash in unless you know you’re safe or for a kill confirm.

only thing that pains me in this vid is that you dont use whipshot as much on cooldown, imo its not only a good spacemaking ability but it also procs insipre, so if u need to stay back or in other situations its really useful for that (also for small picks tis really satisfying haha)

You really think he's gonna struggle in low ranks on Lucio, that's funny. He'll easily reach diamond/masters on general game sense and mechanics alone. If he gets hard stuck, it'll likely be high masters or higher. Your inability to climb on Lucio is something you gotta figure out. It ain't your teammates.
