In response to dafran's beard itchy: Beard oil mostly hydrates the skin, but with the added bonus of a bit of shine. Beard balm is what allows you to mildly shape the hairs, with a little bit of the same hydrating properties. Beard wax lets you shape it heavily, but with even less hydrating.

Always been against Smurfing, yet in OW i started smurf, but im a hitscan player so i only played projectiles in it, in balance in QP i get, but in ranked you should be able to compete in the rank you are, i think Smurfing can be mirrored to bullying, Dafrans concept is OK you play these weird picks, and letting enemy know you one trick, not be able to swap can be harsh.

Smurfing is definitely a problem, especially in higher ranks but there are bigger problems with ranking system right now. Banning smurfs completely should improve matchmaking at the highest ranks because there would be a larger pool of players and more tryharding on their main accounts but blizzard would need to do a much better job at moderation with more accountability. Unjust bans on your only account would be a travesty - perhaps bans should always be timed (exponentially increasing with each ban) outside extreme cases

I remember being 14 on cs thinking smurfs were a huge problem. Until I realized that i had an ego from dominating mg and below for so long that when someone who was better than me was in the game id think theyre smurfing. If you cant handle losing to someone who is better than you in a competitive game then play something else. Especially since blizzard forces me to smurf to play with my non gm friends at all. Unlike cs where you can 5 q with 1 global and 4 silvers

smurfing really isnt that big of a deal. Most smurfs you run into arent gonna be good enough to completely stomp on you and just challenge you to get better at the game. The games with smurfs that are complete stomps are usually when the SR is super far apart like a top 500/gm in plat and that's already only like 1% of the players and even if half of them smurf that's only like a .5% chance of running into one unless your on a massive win streak. A lot of smurfs just wanna play in lower elos with their friends who are lower elo or play characters their not that good at rather than qp because qp doesn't help you learn as well and isnt as good at deciding how much your improving. if your mad about smurfing chances are there's just problems elsewhere in the matchmaking. As seen in these challenges its pretty hard to stay in the same rank if your completely stomping the enemy team.

I know this because I've been designing a competitive botnet for ow and I've gone through dozens of accounts without having to change the signatures, while my clean account on the same machine has been fine.

I swear that I’ve read in a few places that when an account is banned for cheating, all accounts on that device are subsequently banned. I wonder if it’s a theatrical ploy by Blizzard to disincentivize cheating? Who knows. In any case, I think they *could* hypothetically begin to implement it, but given how Blizzard has been lately, it’s doubtful. They don’t care anymore :s

For me, I like smurfers. The ultimate goal is to level up and play with the best right? I’m low gm, and suddenly get placed with top 500 lobbies and sometimes random masters who are goated (smurfs). Who cares, you’ll get so much better playing with the best from time to time rather then constantly playing on your skill level. Ximmers are the real problem…

It's hard to smurf without throwing. I created an account to play with my friends who were silver at the time, it took 10 games at most to go back to my normal rank. Smurfing is not a good thing but I think it's handled pretty well by the system
