+Mike Reed IX Isn't that technically illegal? Unless you have received permission from TK, the creator of the original, or are paying per sale and purchased the Image-Lines FL Studio software and the sample libraries for Kontakt 5, then this would be considered "your" work.

+Michael Yaeger loudr manages this stuff (buying licences etc.). The original artist and loudr get a share if a copy is sold. It's on loudr's website, you can look it up. Of course I bought FL Studio and every single library I own. Who would even think about selling music which is created with libraries they did not pay for. I think be both know that it's illegal. Oh and, for some reason I couldn't reply to your other comment, so I'll answer it here: I don't know how much you know about sample libraries. It seems that you think that I just have to press a key and the song is done. That is not the case. You do not compose sample libraries, you record and sample them, hence sample library. If I press a "c" on my midi keyboard than a "c" is played e.g. by the sampled strings of a strings library. Ripping my cover and slightly changing it is something COMPLETELY different. That would not be considered a cover. It would simply be copyright infringement. Just as a side note, almost every single professional composer uses sample libraries, it's nothing special, that's what they are made for. So, someone who plays a piece on a keyboard/piano is allowed to call it a cover, but when I do it, just with more (sampled) instruments, it is not a cover? Don't you think that it's kind of illogical? I hope I was able to explain everything.
