The Phoenicians developed an alphabet which was adopted and adapted by both Greeks and Hebrews. Early accountants were seen as gifted and holy men (mostly apparently men) because of their extraordinary 'arcane' or 'occult' (hidden, mysterious) knowledge. I'm a great respecter of books....but anyone can interpret them to suit their, not always benign, agendas. Its best not to elevate texts written millennia back as particularly 'sacred'. I figured the perfect of different skin color is to survive in different climates. Blackpeople have dark skin to protect themselves from the sun and white people have light skin so they can absorb sun light easier in places that don't get much sun. This seems to escape logic. Noah had one wife. Their son's were all similar. The Bible never ID’s them by race. Gen 7:7 So Noah, along with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, went into the ark. The ‘son's wives’ were not referred to as ‘daughters of Noah’. I think either Enoch or the book of Jasher tells that Noah’s sons married the daughters of Lamech. Which was Noah’s cousin. I don’t think scripture tells us who the mother of his sons are, it’s possible that they each had a different mother that died, and the wife that went on the ark was who he was married to at that time. I certainly could be wrong about that, but just another possible perspective. Or Lamech, could have had several wives and that could be where the genetics came from.

I dont understand why everyone needs to argue about the skin color of the original people or the different people after the flood. Wouldn't it be easier to just admit that we may never know or at minimum compromise by splitting it down the middle which is consistent with what skin color is there now. Why would it change if you stayed in the same location as your ancestors have from the beginning of time?

There is a monument called Behistun Rock, made by Darius after solidifying his rule, which involved taking Israel captive. That monument has three different languages all saying the same thing and acts as a sort of Rosetta Stone. It links Israel, Cimmerians and Scythians as one and the same.
