To be honest, I hated school. I always felt very confused and stupid and behind. I know where it began. It began in early elementary school when the science text first showed me the 'monkey to human' chart. I had a picture Bible growing up. I fully believed in God. I believed what the Bible said about Creation. I felt trapped. I knew my mom wouldn't lie to me. And I 'knew' my teacher wouldn't lie to me. So, WHY CAN'T MY HEAD WRAP AROUND THIS? I grew up very shy about expressing any intellectual ideas of my own. I even graduated high-school with zero self-confidence. It took me many years to realize I wasn't the stupid one.
@Bomtombadi110 ай бұрын
So being taught evolution in elementary school did it? It’s all because of not being able to wrap your head around evolution that all you intellectual confidence in all areas was stifled. And because you were either too stubborn, or too shy to ask questions to help yourself understand evolution, you instead concluded that you actually had nothing to do with you. You weren’t stupid for not understanding it. Everyone else was stupid for understanding it. Which I guess boils down to the scientists who understand it as well. Yes, this sob story can be filed under never happened.

I didn’t care much for what the Bible said at the time as I was preoccupied with how uncomfortably long church was for me when I was younger. I was blindly walking in a rough path. It was until in high school, that I truly woke up and completely rejected the evolution crap but still believed in the meteor wiping out the dinosaurs and forgot that organisms and their bones decompose if they are ent buried quickly or not at all. It was until I thought about it more did I wake a up a bit and noticed things, though was still a little confused, and it was until I found this channel did I fully wake up from the deluge that these liars or deceived people put into my head. The emotions I felt after realizing that I had been deceived was anger and surprise. If anyone is reading this comment.. Ethnicityism is alive and well. So crazy how people sailed up to a shore, decided the people there weren’t making the most of their own land and that they were less than human and as a result problems have occurred ever sense with respect to the notion of “race”. I like this video and it’s attempt to erase “racism” but while making the word that describes it obsolete we should make sure that we focus on making the practice identifiable and universally unacceptable. Part of that is understanding how our past treatment of one another has shaped our present and what we can do to avoid repeating those events and practices.

How crazy that you clearly don't know history but feel free to judge. How crazy you don't see your own hypocrisy. How crazy you only judge one group of people from one particular time in history in one location. How crazy you have no judgement for the black on black slavery and bigotry that's gone on since the existence of black people and is still going on today. Or the European on European bigotry. How crazy you have no comment about the Africans who believed they were superior and would go to Europe and steal and enslave Europeans. How crazy you ignore the Chinese on Chinese bigotry and slavery that has always existed and continues today. How crazy you do not judge all the Hispanic/Latin American tribes throughout central and south America who believed they were superior to other tribes, wanted their land and regularly enslaved and murdered them. How crazy you conveniently ignore the fact that there were many different American Indian tribes and they did not all arrive at the same time, did not get along, fought each other, stole land from each other, murdered each other and enslaved each other. How crazy that you have the audacity to imply that man judging man did not occur until "people sailed up to a shore". Either you're rather uneducated or bigoted...Or both...

For twenty years now, I have been trying to get this across. I have worked in the university system and studied the same material, but because I do not have a Doctorate, it must be dismissed not with evidence, but a hrmph. Most cosmetic features are controlled by three genes: Eumelanin, alternate color (red/green), and a "Saturation" gene (often called Brown 2 but they can not explain what it does.) If you combine those colors, you get a swatch similar to the one you showed (I developed my own swatches 20 years ago). But it is deeper than this. The DNA is made up of 4 chemicals, each providing a different electrical resistance. When you combine them, their order will act like logic gates for a vacuum tube. Instead of just Yes/No, you get Very Yes, Yes, Kind of, Not Really, and Very much No. This results in that swatch. More over, you can create this by having two pairs, pairs that get divided and recombined in pregnancy. No mutations needed. Just time to allow a 01 and 10 to create 00, 01, 10, and 11s that then match up with other similar people until their is only 00. No mutations needed. Furthermore (as the analyst in me went down the rabbit hole), there is a layer of expression that is adjusted by our lineage and our environment. The environment only takes a generation or two to change and makes you notice that rich people might be lighter and fieldworkers might be darker. The lineage is generations of working in the same environment. But how does that factor? Because built into every human is a way for the body to distinguish the Latitude and Cloudiness of their environment. The closer to the Equator, the Browner. The cloudier the environment, The Redder/Greener. The Red works better for blocking intermittent changes, but still allowing through enough for Vitamin D production. Brown does a great job at filtering too much into "just right" to prevent burning. But that adds another factor, fat production. Another use for fat deposits in the body in to supplement sunscreen protection. Those, if you are in a place with more variability of cloud cover, your body will add fat as the immediate response and then slowly dial up the melanin in the skin. People who live in highly mobile countries show a higher obesity rate than low-mobility nations for this reason. The body also interprets Indoor Life and Sunscreen as Cloudy, which means that more fat should be added. These factors account for nearly every physical appearance difference. I say all of this not to "look smart" but to show you how carefully I have researched the actual science to get to the next part. This is a base part of human DNA. Almost no other animal has this. It is a big part of why humans can live "everywhere". Other animals cannot adapt as such, and thus die outside of their narrow biomes. But humans have it and can. They had it from the beginning. Apes and such do not. So why did humans "evolve" this BEFORE moving into different biomes? I believe Evolution is a thing, but not in the way it is used by the average person. An IBM 886 will not evolve into an Android if left alone with power. But engineers could come to that point by iterative development. Still, why does this matter? Again, Evolution states that developments occur to match a need. For a system to be in place long before a need, suggests their causality is backwards. They have been labeling something as an effect instead of a design spec. Moreover, It implies that Vitiligo is not a disease, but the body responding to a severe latitude and cloudiness (Indoor Life) change. But even more, it shows that all of this can be produced with one template. There are no other races. There are no mutations. Everything we have used to divide each other is just a factor of living apart. The same with languages. God did not have to work hard to confound people. Get them to live a ways from each other and watch the language drift in a couple of generations. Books are a big factor for the steadiness of languages. The easier and more hardcopy media that is present, the lower the rate of change. We see the linguistical shift as jokes in movies about Heavy, Cool, and Riz. But the same people who pushed the acceptance of Evolution also belong to Eugenics groups. They try to avoid saying the Quiet part out loud so they do not look personally bad. But everything is designed to separate and destroy us. So, if you want to refute Evolution as presented by these dividers, ask them about how the human body developed a method for adjusting to biome solar radiation variations (a task that only a few other creatures have managed) BEFORE leaving their first Biome? This task is observable by simply observing what is present in our faces, The Face of God. He said it the whole time, but we did not understand enough to realize what he was saying.

I appreciate your going into detail on how biology works, helps me understand more fully how God designed us humans and the complexity and simplicity of all creation. Some creatures have great adaptability range, some birds, feline and wolf species ie dogs, foxes and others less and others completely dependant on one small range of one plant food such as Pandas with bamboo and Koloa bears with one tree and leaves, if that tree is gone, so are the species, whether due to man made or natural disasters, many species died out with such narrow biomes, but other creatures were also at risk. I had a best friend who came from a German ethnic group, but her entire family looked Asian, her mother looked Japanese , her father, 3 brothers looked Chinese including her. Her Mom’s 2 sisters also looked Asian. Her dad said he was often mistaken for Asian, I replied mongolian raids and expansion into Russian and Europe brought new genes into the mix. And that expression has come out in their features. He had never thought about that. Her daughter looked Asian but the grandchildren did not. Neither did her oldest brother’s son. Me, I just look white, cannot identify any features that say what ethic I am. My 5 half siblings by one mother, different fathers except for one half sister that looked very similar to me, look different from each other. My Aunt said my one sister looked like our biological mother, and when I spoke and laughed, it reminded her of her sister. We were all adopted except for the youngest brother whose life is a total mess, still living with biological mother. In my adopted family my late dad sister had a son who looks like him, At a family funeral , when Vern walked in, I did a double take, his smile, how he walks is just like my dad that for 15:12 a moment- my Heart said “ Daddy isn’t dead”. Than I realized it wasn’t and a pain went through me. Genetics can play all sorts of pranks on us humans but I find it so interesting. My Mom as a baby had very dark brown eyes, dark complexion and thick brown hair. Everyone kept telling my grandmother she looked like an Indian baby and joked as to where she really came from. Yes, her baby picture , she looks Native American, her sister had black hair and very pale skin, the youngest was a blonde, the shade more like a deep strawberry blonde slightly gold. My grandmother had think waist length hair that was warm bark toned and she told me that she had to keep it only waist length because she would get headaches if it got longer. I was so sad when she got it cut short because of age. In my biological family, going white early happens, one half sister started going white in her teens, by 28 her hair was all white, so she dyed her hair. I started my journey of salt and pepper hair in my 40s, now 67, still salt and pepper, with perhaps a little more white. I was never bothered by it and firmly rejected that gray hair was a horror to be avoided. Now, young woman think it cool to have old lady hair- my, how attitudes have changed.

I see a lot of racist comments on KZbin, and this one I see a lot (along side “black ppl owned slaves too). While I was watching the video I was hoping he would tackle that one. You can talk about differences in culture without being racist as long as it doesn’t degrade into suprematism. Talking about differences in people other than talking about culture tends to go up the racism/suprematism scale quite quickly. And race itself is such a shady concept that talking about ‘differences’ between races always ends up being racist. Now when you mention Black people owning slaves, are you referring to 1860, when 300,000+ white slaveholders in the South owned over 2,000,000 Black slaves, while of the 12,000 liberated Black people less than half of them purchased roughly 3,000 slaves? Half of those 3000 slaves purchased were to free family members. Then, Less than 300 liberated Black people (less than 1% of the emancipated Black population) owned the remaining 1,500 slaves for labor (This all can be confirm with a quick google search). The "Black people owned slaves too" argument is frequently used to divert attention from the evil reality slavery in America, as I cleary demonstrated by a comparison of these figures. With that said, I pray that even the most harden wicked souls will be changed by Jesus. God Bless.

@@Themorningskyandsun Black people did own slaves; that is just a fact. Are you implying that a fact is "racist?" I apologize if I misunderstood your point, so I hope you are not saying facts are "racist", it just could be read that way. While racism does exist in every culture and every society that has ever existed on our planet, we have seen that a very satanic culture of bearing false witness has sprung up where the word "racist" has been used to silence debate, rather than to truly engage in helping anybody. I first realized this because I sacrificed a lot as a veteran to speak out against neocon wars (I gave up a very lucrative position at the DOD) because I needed to speak out against the war crimes of the Bush regime, but when Obama expanded the same war crimes in Libya and Syria, it became popular to accuse anyone who spoke out on war crimes to be "racist." So we have clearly seen that "racism" can be used as an accusation to excuse war crimes and corruption and get away with policies that otherwise would be opposed by anyone with a conscience.

TBH we didn't, people misinterpreted the verses. Let's look at this in Aramaic ok? We know Adam means Man but ad means more than one so we're looking at men and Eve means women. So in the beginning God created men and women from one man and that one man was Jesus Christ. Who is the second Adam or the second stage of man the perfected state. But he created them male and female and called them humanity. There's more than one cradle of life or garden that these rivers fed into. Meaning that Cain found his wife elsewhere and was not a sister. And Africa was the land of Cain and Israel to Europe was the land of Israel and the promised lands. The so-called middle East desert was the garden near the Euphrates rivers and so on. There are so many things people have yet to learn about the Bible and geography. I can't explain it all because it would take forever but the basic principle is we did not come from just two people.

I remember in church learning about the creation story, and in school learning about evolution...and the one that didn't feel real or right was always evolution. I didn't think too much about it, though, as it didn't have any tangible effect on my daily life. When I got older and looked into creationism more, I saw just how much more sense it made, how things suddenly fit together that didn't before. There's a saying I've heard that few people seem to apply to evolution: If you can question it, it's science. If not, it's *propaganda.*
@xn85d29 ай бұрын
@annieoaktree6774 Sounds like you're making a lot of assumptions there. I've looked into the actual evidence for (macro) evolution and found there isn't any, especially not in the fossil record. The Galapagos Island finches were the closest, but that was evidence of seasonal adaptation (micro-evolution) in a single trait which reverted back to the norm instead of being passed down and causing a permanent change across the whole population. That in no way provides evidence of macro evolution which would require a mechanism that can somehow jump past irreducible complexity and transform one genus into another.

As a born again christian and someone studied science, I have to say that science and faith aren’t necessarily enemies and natural selection is true to some extent. We are phenotypically different as a result of our environment. Me being black for example that is because I originated from a hot country so people living there will have higher concentration of melanin in order to survive the hot environment and it’s the same with our hair; the afro is a result of the hair coiling and spiraling on itself to trap water and prevent it from evaporating. Notice how Mediterraneans tend to be darker than other groups white people or people from Greenland have a double eyelid. It’s silly to think to some extent that natural selection is false. If we were being chased, don’t you think that tall people with longer legs will have a higher chance of survival and then procreate kids with similar phenotypes,

Chemical balances and how our brains work from our senses, to how we think are different as well. Sure we all come from Adam and Eve and should be respected as individuals, but different races are real just like how you said with your running example. Sad I have to say this, but I don't believe in Eugenics at ALL, but people claim stupid things when you point to reality. This man in the video is trying his best to unify the world but we should be unified through Christ, not feel good we are all one race mumbo jumbo. That's the bad things that Christianity, and philosophical or ideologies have as their Achilles heel. They say something profound, but reality usually kicks in and makes the good word of our Lord look silly.

This was actually quite amazing and well put together. Makes a lot of sense. Although evolutionary theory took a dark turn with racism and it distorting people, it always was a thing but more tribal. Also if evolution was taught in this way, even with stripping out the biblical references, it could make a big difference to non and believers alike towards our perception towards our race as one and to see each other as such instead of separate. Melanin selection (akin to what was said) was also an environmental factor to why certain areas/climates were dominated by a particular colour/shade. This is very well done I think.

Yes, that may be true that we are not divided by races, but people did not just learn about racism in schools. It was something that was promoted in the zoos. They actually put Black people in zoos, and they actually put Black people in museums and they paraded them in the streets, this is not some made up Thing, this is history. I like the fact that it was brought up that the Bible does not point to there being separate races but more so people were divided by language, and then they became nations and people had varying beliefs. However, people have divided others into racial groups and created a hierarchy which led to systemic racism. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to call out Racist people in 2024, neither do I understand why everything has to be so political. It is not right to completely deny the current events that are happening to minority groups in this country by saying simply because the Bible does not mention it therefore it does not exist. We live in a fallen world filled with fallen people, that have in fact corrupted society to believing that some races of people are better than others, and because of that belief have created a system that works against minority groups. So yes, there is systemic racism.

The lingo is kind of confusing but I believe originally the word race meant variation of the same kind. So I still find it valid to say we are different races because i don’t deny that we are all humans. But I also can’t deny that there are indeed inherent differences that go beyond skin color. Skin color is only one aspect but there are others such as body build, strength, temperament, behavior, and other more controversial ones. Many people believe that recognizing these differences somehow implies hatred and it’s probably the reason why so many people distance themselves from using the word race. But I don’t think we should deny reality because people get offended.
