Could you go over adding other animations to the infiltrator characters? The Mixamo (the ones off the main site, haven't tried the marketplace ones) animations don't play nicely.

I'm having trouble migrating Ai/Characters from one game to another. I have some templates from the marketplace however anytime I try to migrate blueprints into the same project the chatacters just stand there and don't move. I understand that the BP's need to be reconfugured but I'm not sure where to look. Do I need to use recasting or something?

Hello, thanks for the Tut. I have the same issue as Adam Okler's Post, the red shirt's arms go zig zaggy and one of the knees is a little bent. I followed exactly your tutorial.3 issues are raised.1) When I accept to reconstruct the skeleton for the red shirt, it replaces the mesh with Carr's mesh.2) When I retarget as you did at 3.30mins, it adds a whole set of duplicates with the new mesh in the content folder? is this right? I also had to put a prefix so I could define the new overrides.3) As I stated above, zig zag arms and bent bent to the side a little?Any help would be great, I'm using 4.14 version,Regards

For some reason when i drag the sk models out they dont have any materials set for them, they pop in untextured. Also apparently they dont have a skeleton either for some reason. (using 4.10). I got the assets by copying and pasting the content folder from the infiltrator demo into my project folder content into a custom folder

Are these assets optimized for games or just video demos? Do they include things like LOD's?

Could you provide a download of a project file with the character retargeted to the new skeleton please, I can not get it to work correctly. My characters arms and legs are always screwed up. I know this is asking a lot but it would be greatly appreciated as I'd very much like to be able to use this character.

yes i noticed that too, tried to retarget to skeleton all the bones and solved it, but the animation then gets really weird forsome reason

+ExLarios That's because the Infiltrator model is in T-Pose, and the Default model is in A-Pose, if you fix the pose on the Infiltrator character it will work flawlessly. You could also try the 4.7 anim starter pack that was designed for the old default model which was in T-Pose.

That's tight, but even on Tesla tutorial character is deformed - look hands and not only. T-Pose can help, but I not help proven solution how to retarget this or other skeletons. Looks like you need change mesh too.

Trying this with latest UE4 (4.12.5) and when I try to migrate the animations the Redshirt model has warped arms. Doing the last part (switching meshes and anim class) has the Redshirt in t-pose rather than having the animations of the Mannequin. Can anybody help? I've looked at the settings but can't see what's wrong

Yeah because he put it in an A pose and didn't mention how he did it. You can tell because in the Demo he shows them in a full T-Pose, and on 3:39 it's in an A pose..

No, I think think my best bet is to re-target with Maya or Motionbuilder and then clean it up. Very annoying.

Can you not do it in UE4? I know when you have them ready to retarget (the part where you have the mannequin and Soldier in windows side by side) you can adjust the the position of their arms etc. Can I not use that way rather than maya?

Did you guys solve it? i think you can open the Infiltrator guys' skeleton and manually rotate the arms until they are as close to an A pose as possible. (trying to make the Infiltrator guard's pose match the A pose. Then set that as a retarget pose and retarget at that point. Epic have a few Tutorials showing how to do it.

good but your screen rate is bit too high as it looks ,and all your doing in this video is to miniature looking i hardly cant see what are you doing very small ue4 player bones headings.
