Looks really brutal! Not sure what's goin on with the normals on the guy's neck. Perhaps the purple lighting needs a bit more soft source. The lighting on his front face looks phenomenal though.

@@Jsfilmz - Nah, I can see the Normals as I can see the transition of the topology. Could be the SSS absorbing too much red light, maybe some shadow bias issue or maybe just needs more soft source. I don't mess with raytracing so I couldn't tell ya exactly. Lookin tight tho!

Your content and lighting are getting better with every project. The violet lighting for the heroine is working great. The script is the weakest point; the heroine is too passive; she accepts everything, no conflict, no tension. Visually is exceptional, and the dialogue wise is dull.

@@Jsfilmz The story is about the message to the girl. Let it go, or you will die. She is dreaming, and he is getting under her skin with a personal message. The guy brings a message that changes the context. Judging by the background sound, you can tell she is in the hospital and alive, but no medical gadgets are attached, so it isn't clear what's going on, and there is no clear context. Is she dying? I would play the message again and add some action like she opens her eyes, flashing light or close up to her face, which would help connect the scenes. It should be a setup, conflict, and resolution, so the resolution is missing.

Seems like the expressions were a bit exaggerated in some areas for the actress (Ashley), or perhaps ma manz game was just that NEXT LEVEL? lol. hey thanks man so i did compare the face solve vs the real thing and man at 30fps it captured more subtle things that i thought it could. her lips folding etc i was actually mind blown $250 iphone 12 mini with my helmet crazy quality

@@Jsfilmz Yeah it blew my mind too when I saw the lips folding. So I'm assuming if you had something that could capture at a higher framerate then more subtle nuances could be seen? but then again that might be at the expense of a larger file size.

BTW I Would love to see the same shot/edits with just a hint of handheld camera movement animation added to the camera via the sequencer. I am curious to see if it would smooth out some of the rendering artifacts? in the hair edges and shadows etc.

Looks great. How long did it take you to do this in post? Also, a shoot like this taking you less than an hour start to finish is unbelievably fast. Even three hours would have been fast. Something like this would have taken 8-12 hours the "traditional" way.

Can you explain why the UE5 metahuman demos look so hyper-realistic and this doesn't? I mean, the short movie is well made, don't get me wrong, but the CGI is more on the level of something like a cut scene from a semi-old video game, as opposed to the metahumans demo, some of which are so hyper-realistic that I couldn't even tell it wasn't real. Are they two completely different things??

Any advice on why my PC is having video errors and crashing? i9 12900k, 3090Ti, 128Mb RAM. Ive tried reducing the settings to High and not Epic in both main areas of settings. If i wanted to upgrade, what would you invest in? Dual CPU and dual GPU? I'm using fast SSD's also.

yea far as i know it records 60 but only outputs 30 after its pretty crazy to think eventually it will out 60

Buen trabajo, la piel tiende a enrojecerse en ciertas zonas en el rostro por unos segundos por la circulación sanguínea y luego regresar al color normal. Tal ves se puede agregar esto en un futuro. 👍
