😍 Thanks for this incredible tutorial! I have just reproduced it..It works perfectly.. The explanations are very good.. It looks complex.. but with practice... I will use it to active a dialog with an NPC... (Instead of to use a press button)... Thanks again.

sweet! I really like the way you think of making games accesable through alternative controllers. strongly reminds me on the PS2 Singstar series. thinking about that - do you know out of the pocket, if there's a ways to track pitch? I'm new to UE, but your content of your channel and also the way you explain things is very neat! keep it up :)

Take this with a grain of salt as it’s only theoretical (I’ve not tried to build it out yet). In the very beginning of the video, the visualizer that you see was made using a band splitter inside the meta sound, each with its own envelope follow. This will split the frequencies it into 5 bands. In theory, if you add multiple band splitter and adjust all of their crossover points, you may be able to get more granular with the frequency splits and use those. It may work or it may not but that’s where I would start. I’ll try to play around with it later tonight or tomorrow and see for sure though.

do you think it's possible to to connect this "audio capture system" to a material instance parameter (in order to change color and other property?) I get easily confused when I try to implement this system inside other project to try controls other stuff.... Maybe i need to study more the basics of BP , interfaces and so :P

Thanks Brian! I haven’t messed with it yet but I want to try running some guitars through it so see how they would sound (albeit the latency might pose an issue). I also wanted to try and make a small Flappy Birds like game that uses the players input gain to control the height of the bird.

@@TheSoundFXGuywould be cool to set the input to a midi note quantize and only allow “correct” notes to pass…. Could be like a music training exercise! Limitless possibilities

Hi, great tutorial. Unfortunately my microphone input isn't working. Is there a way to set which microphone Unreal is using? (if that is the issue)
