Would be great if you could include the use of Epics Common UI plugin for the widgets allowing both keyboard and mouse and gamepad seamless switching.

Unfortunately I'm not very good in creating user interface, especially for gamepads, so I would recommend to watch tutorials on that theme from someone who really good at this

This tutorial is more about a system than creating a UI, here for User Interface only basics things are used and it is needed here for representation of inventory system work

Thanks for the reply, I never really got into the code for inventory and after using various frameworks for such things I decided to try to learn how this is done from scratch because I need to make one that has common UI included too. So I am following your course as an exercise and appreciate you sharing the steps and will attempt to use Common Ui for the widget parts. .@@Dengojaba​

Check your inputs for a function, Amount input should be a Single type and not Array imgur.com/iO57FYI imgur.com/HjPsHSm

This 'Get Amount' just returns an Amount Input of a function, that is a good practice to use inputs like this sometimes because in such case you don't have to pull the node very far from a start of a function which will lead to the creation of a unreadable web of nodes in complex functions

What do you mean, I have already added a section for armor, you just have to set and item type as armor in data table and it will go into armor section

May be I haven't seen that part yet...you mean you went over, adding slots for armor/ weapon...so if we put for example, a weapon in the weapon slot...it will add it to the character's hand?

You can see it a second video, it will a grid with section like Weapons/Armor/Food and so on, every cell will have an image an an amount of items in stack

Because in the first part we don’t have a user interface yet But if you are talking about whole system result, it is not finished yet, so I don’t have a result to show, when it will be finished I will create and publish new introduction video for this system

What is your reasoning for remaking the array s inventory slots So often instead of using an index

Honestly, I don't remember 100%, because some time has passed, but I remember that it seemed like it was so that the array would be marked as dirty for replication, and in case of changing an item at index it wasn't marked as dirty, but I'm not sure about reasons on 100%
