Unreal Engine 5 UDS + OC5 + GES

Unreal Engine 5 Ultra dynamic sky and Oceanology 5.1.9 integration with global environmental system all working together to syncronize the weather and wind systems together for a harmony of uses. I'm curious if you have an integration with UDS that would have the waves react to the weather as well? When it's very stormy, the waves would be much higher for example.

Hey you would probably find what your looking from here, it connects a weather system currently by default set to UDS. To basically any wind system. It can even sync up to oceanology, and lake. Riverology will work in the future. github.com/delebash/UE_GlobalEnvironmentalSystem

Would love to know if there’s a tutorial on how you did this! I’m just starting in UE5 and if I can accomplish the same thing, it would actually convince me to get Oceanology. Unfortunately things like this is way over my head at this point 😅

A lot of what I did here can be found in my other video found here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/enrReJmjf6pjeZY updated guide is written in Galidar studio discord. The weather syncing with ocean was accomplished with a github asset that's free to use. But everything's being updated quite a bit right now so the methods changed may make a video when it's more finalized.
