And if you try again this compares today with Unreal engine 5. Results will be corona: 1 hr/frame , ue 5: 70 frame/second
@artmaknev37384 жыл бұрын
I think at the end, the client will choose quality even if takes 1 hour per frame instead of 1m per frame...Corona looks 10 times more realistic.

wrong , why would they use unreal for mandalorian, game of thrones and loads of other movies aswell what for quick results ? they both have there place this used to be very true but unreal is turning into a different beast now.

@shiv krishna @shiv krishna you're wrong. It' a tool...like you said...when compare different user. But the same person use 2 software, each software have strong point to use in right place, no software is perfect, just have a software best in specific thing, not everything. This guy confident, good for him, every software just a tool, then why he dont just use only one software, its a tool then he can do it all with the only one he choose.

@@SKYLIMI With the new UE5, it's not necessary anymore to have an RTX card to produce high quality dynamic lighting I made this using an AMD Ryzen 5 3400g in UE5: imgur.com/gallery/mK9Qxui Of course, Raytracing will be better, but it just goes to show that you can have nice, smooth bounce lighting(which I only spent an hr on this lighting, if more time went into it, it would be infinitely better) without having to break the bank.

Your UE engine 100% cannot beat 3dmax with vray if i work that not you. At first your texturing looks poor 3dmax can work better but it cost of time it manually worked by using advanced material technique just like composite, mix, vrayblend etc. Only disadvantage of 3dmax is the speed not the quality. That's the reason why UE invented to make work easier and faster. In fact many application released besides of UE just like substance painter, zbrush, marvelous etc. But all that application it comes from 3dmax at all. They invented to less effort while productivity increase of exerting speed and less time. 😋
@travelingislife60973 жыл бұрын
Oh "his" UE5 did beat 3DSmax, both in time and in cost. I'd say it was a massive beatdown
@ap30082 жыл бұрын
I think UE is doing massive improvements in time and in a few years, it can aboslutely beat V-ray...I also think that UE is a platform with an easier learning curve. They just launched new improvments like more realistic foliage, better reflections and better glass texture representation. It's improving at a fast pace...not to mention that for non-comercial projects, it's free...
